“I usually dread getting anything diagnosed/fixed on my car because there’s always surprises with cost & things usually aren’t done thoroughly. I don’t know anything about vehicles, so I have to trust what anyone says. That being said, I had a big repair I needed done to my car & I called around to quite a few places until I landed on Ray & Roy’s. They were extremely kind when I called & explained what I thought I needed done to my vehicle. They gave me the best price, got me an appointment, let me know exactly what they were going to look for to repair & potential extra costs, had the parts ready & actually remembered me when I came in (they are booked out a little ways—a good sign!) Shuttled me home & back to the shop. They called when the vehicle was done & I didn’t have to call 3 or 4 times like I have at other places. And the best part was my quote was spot on down to the penny. My car runs great. I would highly highly recommend! I’ll definitely be going back for anything I need done in the future.”

“I had taken a 2005 Subaru Outback XT to Tune Tech due to family recommendation for a pre inspection purchase. Scott and his team were able to fully inspect the car over in two hours time. A few minor things needed replaced but nothing too serious.I ended up taking the vehicle after purchase to another mechanic who I usually go to for my repairs. Had an o2 sensor replaced due to constant stalling and check engine light. (This very well could be from the PCV valve replacement Tune Tech suggested.) I received a call from the mechanic I usually use and he asked me if we planned to sell the car due to massive amounts of rust throughout the chassis and seized bolts as well as rusted out exhaust.This was shocking news to me as I had not heard about the severity of rust from the pre inspection. I felt defeated from just putting $8,000 towards a car and then hearing the news about how rough the chassis/exhaust were.I called Scott with my concern and he wanted me to bring the car back in so he could inspect it himself. After lifting it up and inspecting it, he was positive it was surface level rust. He did state the front control arms and rear lateral links needed replaced due to rust and failing bushings.Scott and his team went out of their way to make sure my car was taken care of from some missed things during inspection. I am very pleased with Scott’s attentiveness to the situation and his actions to make it right. The car now drives solid and I am confident to have my family drive in it again.100% would recommend his shop to anyone who needs mechanical work.Services: Steering & suspension repair”

“My roadside assistance service used Pacific for my tow. I did a quick Google review search to see what to expect. What I found is that you need to also read to company's response. Always two sides to every story.Here is my experience. As soon as I got the message who my provider was I called Pacific. Rosa answered the phone and was very pleasant and helpful. She told me that it would be two hours, because there were two customers ahead of me. I was called by Rich when he arrived. Went to meet him and that's when things got crazy. I couldn't find the keys. OMG, I couldn't believe it. After 20 minutes of looking I told Rich to get going. He said that if I found the keys he would come back. So understanding of him. After much running like a chicken with my head cut off, my wife finally found the keys after 2 1/2 hours of searching. Called Rosa and Rich and they were great. Rich showed up at 8pm, we got it loaded, and he delivered it to the dealership. Anyway. Great communications. They were very understanding and flexible with my issues. I'll use them in the future. BTW, they also do lock-out service.”

“The environment is pleasant, I'm able think and remember why I went there. The employees are awesome they love my humor because it breaks the mundane b.s any job has. It's a couple blocks opposite of where I usually go but at least they don't try making you pay by their standards only and no crowds and clouds of opiates in the parking lot”

“I think I reviewed this place before, but I’m drunk off of the same beer I bought from this place a little while ago.There was a cashier here, forget her name, but she helped through a really rough breakup. Even though she might not realize it.I asked her for advice one night, considering the relationship at the time… she gave it so freely and I am so grateful.Random cashier, I hope you know how wonderful you are.She had some poignant advice that I really took to heart. “At my last oil change, I asked an employee of a highly respected South Hill automotive shop who I should call if I need towing services. His response was that they exclusively utilize Nelson's because they are reliable and do a good job.I have not yet utilized this company's services, but I just called and the gentleman who answered the phone was most pleasant and informative. As of today, 8/10/2023, towing fees are $95 for the hook up, $35 for a dolly (required if your vehicle has AWD or 4WD) and $6/per mile of towing. Everyone's price structure has increased from months of run-away inflation.In reading the reviews, I noticed a trend and feel compelled to set the record straight. When someone has parked where they shouldn't have, regardless of the duration of time, and the vehicle is towed and impounded, the associated fees are set by the state, not the towing company. I see several reviews complaining about towing and storage fees that clearly fall into this category.”

Nick was fantastic with the stress of hooking up my car on the side of the freeway.
