“My fireplace hasn't worked since I bought my house in 2020. I had several calls and emails with Eric to identify the model and then booked an appointment. He was clear on the service fee and possible additional charges depending on the issue(s).

Kevin arrived on time, diagnosed the issue, and had the replacement control board needed for older model on hand. He was efficient and personable.

We have a working fireplace now! Great service and people - would recommend!”

“If you want to test an audio and video system before making a big investment, this is the perfect place. Only two Best Buy stores feature Magnolia Studios, where you can experience these systems: Bellevue and Tacoma. The Tacoma location has two spacious studios. Jordon was very knowledgeable, quickly understood our needs, and helped us narrow down our options. He patiently explained the technical details of the add-ons, making the experience enjoyable. In the end, we decided to purchase the Bowers SR 702. Jordon and Roddy helped close the deal and were very supportive until the speakers were loaded into the car. This place is highly recommended if you are very particular and picky about your audio system.”

“So I wanted to rent a hand dolly to move a couple heavy objects up some stairs. They do have these here for $27/4hrs. So I gave them a 4 star review for having them but would've given 5 stars had I not found it cheaper at U-haul rentals for $10/24hrs.”

“I don't usually shop at this particular home. Depot, but I do appreciate their tool department because they actually took care of business. It's much better than what it used to be. So I'm grateful, but the consistency, with all home depots, is this it's really difficult to find someone that's helpful with some knowledge.Anymore, mainly because a lot of the people that had that knowledge are no longer working there.So they need to learn a lot more about what they're doing before they do it, or maybe you guys should consider hiring semi.Retired contractors that no stuff and make it worth our while to go to work for you.”

“We searched high and low all over Pierce County for a refrigerator that would meet our needs. We decided to try Albert Lee after looking at several other places. The first thing we noticed at the Tacoma store was the big inventory of refrigerators to choose from. We were helped by Elaine. She knew everything about refrigerators and helped us make our final choice after spending probably 30 minutes with her to narrow it down. Then she helped us with the financial part of it, explaining every detail and patiently answering our questions. She made the arrangements for delivery. We were so pleased with her knowledge and customer service! Then, the day before delivery, we received information from Albert, their AI assistant, regarding the details of delivery. On the day of delivery, Albert notified us where the delivery people were (on Google maps) and what number we were in the queue for delivery. These two guys were so incredibly helpful in making sure of all of the measurements to get the refrigerator in the door. They took our old refrigerator outside for us. I was a little concerned about the 5 steps up to our back door because they are ceramic tile, but no worries as they picked up both refrigerators. They were so incredibly awesome!!! Not to mention the $75 to have them do all of this was incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new appliance!!!”

“Typical customer service here can be hard to find. Truthfully, they have a lot of staff on hand that could really benefit from education on the sales floor however, they have an employee named Matthew that’s been great and extremely helpful both times I’ve come in to make a big purchase. It took me 5-10 minutes of wandering and asking another employee for assistance to even find their full selection of gas mowers but he left as soon as we neared the isle and didn’t seem to want to engage in helping further (even though all product is locked up). I went back up to the front of the store to ask customer service if they could have someone meet me in the department and boom! There was Matthew again ready to help unlock the cages and get the mower up to the front for me. Attentive & helpful are an understatement! 5 stars for Matthew alone. Appreciate your assistance sir!”

Anyway, there is one older gentleman who works here that I absolutely adore. If I have a question about ANYTHING (garden, tools, plumbing, fencing) I will wander the whole store until I find him, then ask him.

He is patient, will walk me to the place for the thing I couldn't find, answers questions, and then double checks that I have what i need before he heads off to help the next person.

I was in last week and needed a new dog warning sign for my gate. I couldn't find my guy so asked a different guy. His response (without even looking at me or acknowledging me), "Try aisle 12, 14, or 16. It's somewhere over there."

I still give this store 5 stars because it's Home Depot and I don't expect to have my hand held every time I walk in. I just really like the older guy best.”

“Every time I go to this Home Depot everyone is nice to me. I can make returns with ease, there are actual humans working the registers, and I can find staff in the aisles to ask questions. I’m really surprised because big box stores aren’t typically like this. I don’t know what this store is doing where everyone seems to like the work they do and appreciate the customers but well done!”
