Each class begins with a short stretch and a fun Question of the Day to build community. Sessions include a programmed warm-up, a main strength section, and a cardio and strength "push," all structured within the class time. The coaches and staff are kind, educated, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering individualized attention, good modifications, and motivation to help avoid injury. The gym is inclusive and welcoming to all humans, with offerings like Low Impact Small Group classes for those seeking a slower pace or with limited mobility, and Sound Bath Meditation. The beautiful space features large front windows, an exposed brick wall, and a big soft mat floor. While personal training can be expensive, it is well worth it for the quality instruction. Group sessions have responsible prices. Ascent Fitness is genuinely caring, community focused and driven, and supportive of each person's journey, making it a breath of fresh air in the fitness world.
Caring, knowledgeable staff and trainers, personal attention, positive space accepting all bodies and genders. I love how I feel now that I’m taking better care of myself, and I couldn’t do this work at a big, impersonal gym.
