“I love going to Dightmans! This is a great shop that offers a personalized touch to finding the right tool for the right job. I have only come here for purchasing Bibles.”

“Can't fault these folks for a large and excellent selection of records, including plenty of jazz, soul, world music and general weirdness that you can't find at many other shops. That being said, their prices are really out of line compared with most other stores. Obviously they need to pay rent and make a living, but across the board records are priced from 2 to 3 times higher than other record shops. Fun to browse and maybe score a rare find, but not a place to really stock up.”

“Super clean, easy to get to from I-5, and friendly staff. It's a convention center so it's pretty generic in terms of meeting rooms, but very nice for professional meetings.”

“Yay for King's Books, the best bookstore in Tacoma. They've got a very large and smart selection of new and used books, well organized but not OVERLY organized. There's idiosyncratic minds at work deciding which books get shelved in which sections, which means you're likely to find a title you didn't know you were looking for. I find exactly what I came for about 30% of the time, and leave with something excellent close to 100% of the time. Them's good odds! And used book prices are perfectly fair.”

“I was surprised to actually see a African American section for books in this part of town, I was even more surprised at the level of customer service I received. I'm African American with braids an dress in urban fashion and I'm usually followed when dressed this way in wealthier retail areas, but this store is the complete opposite. Has that small town hospitality vibe every time I enter an I appreciate the patience shown to me an my hyper 7 an 8 year running thru the store . Thank you an merry Christmas”

“They have a nice Bible section but it isn't always perfectly organized. It's worth exploring the entire Christianity section just in case. I bought an out of print New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures bible here for under $10 which got stolen from me shortly thereafter. They have books on other subjects as well as a small vintage antique section near the front of the store.Parking is free and plentiful and this store is also on a bus route.”

“It has a lot of staples you would imagine. Merchandise and things to live as a college student. It has a lot of nice local or artisan things as well, just a bit pricey”

“HUGE collection..store is bigger than you would think, it's like a maze. I didn't give 5 stars because it isn't cataloged or necessarily organized but they have everything you could imagine from car manuals and How-to's to DVDs!”
