City Thrift Store is a favorite thrift shop in Tacoma, Washington. It has a little bit of everything and the prices are great. The selection includes books, dresses, jeans, tees, tank tops and more. Many shoppers leave with something because there is always something interesting. The owner runs the shop quietly but is kind. A young man at the cash register is very nice and personable. Prices can be wild, especially for dresses and jeans, but tees and tank tops are good. On Saturdays items below $18.99 are $1, and coupons are available for purchases. The shop is not the most aesthetically pleasing, sometimes dirty and unorganized, and there are no on‑site restrooms. Yet shoppers find surprising gems and useful items.
This is a pretty sketchy store. Looks like a front for something.

This is by far my favorite thrift store in Tacoma wa they have a little bit of everything and the prices are great! I love the books there’s always something interesting in this shop I never leave empty handed and I love the man who owns and runs it he’s a little quiet but so kind!

Wide selection, young man that helped me at the cash register was very nice and personable, but the prices were wild. Dresses and jeans, no matter the brand were at least $15.99. Tee shirts and tank tops had good prices. Also Saturday everything below $18.99 is $1 and there are other coupons you can get for making a purchase... read full comment
