Metropolitan Market Tacoma is a clean store with helpful employees and a lovely place to shop. It offers a large assortment of fresh foods, with a nice selection of cheeses and baked goods, including great bakery breads, cakes, and cookies. The store provides excellent hot food, mouth-watering hot soup, and food selections like sushi, with a particularly amazing salad bar. Shoppers can find a good variety of meat, poultry, and fish, and enjoy unique items such as the Okonomiyaki when available. It is an excellent place to buy a gift, from edible and floral items to something from the extensive housewares section. While shoppers can expect to pay more, there are always bargains to be found. The store has an area to sit and eat, though parking is limited but close.
Amazing food choices. The bakery has all kinds of delicious treats. The deli has so many options. Sandwiches, pizza, a poke bar, 8 different kinds of fresh soups, and a salad bar. The employees are also friendly and happy to offer recommendations.
