“We had our dog groomed by Ashley. She did a great job with our Wire Fox Terrier. She was very accommodating and concerned with our satisfaction. Finding a groomer with the overall experience and experience with the breed can be difficult but we are glad to have found someone so close to home and will definitely return.”

“Really helpful and kind staff. Ken helped us, he let my daughter and I hold some of the geckos and was very knowledgeable. All the animals seemed very happy and well taken care of. We left with a pet and he threw in a bin with a blanket and some extra food. 100% recommend!”
“Hoshi Koi is absolutely worth the drive every single mile of it. Even though it’s quite a distance for me, I never hesitate to make the trip because every visit has been exceptional. The staff is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to the health and care of their koi. You can immediately tell they take pride in what they do; it shows in the way they interact with customers and in the quality of the fish they raise.
Their selection is always impressive. Whether you’re looking for koi, goldfish, or different varieties within each, Hoshi Koi offers beautiful, healthy fish that are clearly well cared for. The environment is clean, organized, and welcoming, and the team is always willing to answer questions, offer guidance, and share their expertise. It’s rare to find a place where passion and professionalism come together so naturally, but Hoshi Koi does exactly that.
I’ve purchased from them many times over the years, and each experience has reinforced why I continue to make the trip. “Oh my God this is the funnest pet store I’ve ever been in in my entire life! My family and friends have told me I need to shop there for our golden retrievers and now I know why. We care a lot about the health of our animals, and when we go to the store, we can trust that the foods have been vetted out by the extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff that they have. “Kristine is my absolute favorite, I let others in front of me in line so she can help me. Always helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and informative. I’ve been going to this petsmart for years and she has never let me down. She helps me with the app as well and she’s honestly the main reason I keep coming back. I’m not sure if she’s had a raise yet or not but with this type of customer service she honestly deserves one.”

Follow up a couple months later: I recommend using their online purchase and delivery off of their website also. I ordered two items on Monday, I received one of them delivered to my house yesterday (Wed) and the second item arrived today (Thu). Very quick delivery, especially during Christmas time.

“The front receptionist was so understanding and compassionate dealing with putting our family cat down. He was old and we tried holding out until the last minute to prolong his time with us. But it became painful to watch him struggle with daily tasks. We were unable to come up with the full amount of the end of life services. She politely said she would take care of it and we paid what we could. I highly appreciate and recommend the Tacoma Humane Society for any of your animals needs.
