Puget Creek Natural Area is a beautiful and quiet park with nice walking paths and an established trail. It has a great playground for children of all ages, with a play area at the upper trail head. The park provides picnic tables, mostly shaded, for lunch. It is dog-friendly and features a large fenced off-leash area. There are no toilets or bathrooms. The area is well-kept with a nice tree canopy and a stream, though occasional bad smells are noted in a couple of spots.
A good place for walking or exercise with family or friends

Always a good go to park and down the hill from the road so takes extra effort for a kid to run toward the road.

First half mile smelled a little like a sewer. Trail options such as parking up top and using the switchbacks after walking a large loop through Ruston.
I wouldn't walk this trail alone. Use the buddy system and stay vigilant. Be safe and enjoy!
