The Grand Cinema is a volunteer run theater with a fun staff and reasonably priced food. Real butter popcorn and gluten free options from the bakery next door are available. It shows many interesting movies that are not available at big chain theaters, making it a staple of downtown Tacoma. The little theater is a great location for a date night, near red star taco and other fun places. Costume competition, original artwork, free inflatable swords, a green screen photo booth and a free chocolate coated miracle pill are in the day. Service animals are welcomed with open hearts.
