βMichaela Coel is absolutely brilliant β grand cinema is showing the christophers and mother mary, selection team is cooking. And films such as Toni Cade Bambara School of Organizing.
closed captions add to my experience by a tenfold.
come walk in and watch a movie. thank u staff and volunteersβ
βReally an amazing facility. Everybody treats you not just like a client but like a human being, they listen, sympathize, show genuine interest in you. I am really happy with my recent visit.β
βAn incredible spiritual experience first and foremost. I would come just for that even, but I love the yoga part as well! I do intend to teach YogaFaith but even if you donβt, itβs worth going to in person.β
βGood experience I was very satisfied!!! They make you feel very welcomed and comfortableβ¦Thank you guys!!! Thank you Brandi ? Iβm looking forward continuing my pregnancy with you.β
βI always find something at Mission Thrift, and their staff is friendly. While prices aren't the lowest of stores I frequent, they're fair and there's usually some type of discount happening.β
βWe come here often for paddle boarding. Parking can be challenging on nice, warm, sunny days. The park is also a great place to explore. Can walk the waterfront all the way to point defiance and everywhere in between. We often see seals, sea lions, jellyfish and bald eagles. Occasionally we've seen Orcas, gray whales, and harbor porpoises.β

βThis is my second time visiting this office to apply for my daughterβs passport, and in general the service here is very good and most of the staff are kind and professional.
Unfortunately, today I had a very unpleasant experience with a representative named Alexis (or Alexia). From the moment I sat down, her attitude was rude and cold. At first I thought she was just having a bad day, but I clearly noticed that her behavior changed with other customers and that she treated only me this way.
She sent me back because one part of the form was not completed, even though I tried to explain that I left it blank on purpose because I was not sure what to write. Later, another representative helped us and she was completely kind and professional.
It is very sad to feel treated differently without reason. My daughter and I are U.S. citizens, and I still felt discriminated against in that moment.β
βGreat community resource for the artist, the gardener, and anyone in between. Iβve borrowed anything from sewing machines to wheelbarrows, seeds to shovelsβ¦name it. A library for everyone, not just book lovers.β
βI was able to make them happy when I donated a hospital bed, 3 wheelchairs, 3 walkers, 4 canes, bedside commode and a shower chair. The women there said that they didn't have any hospital bedding stock and they were needing some.β

βThe entire staff that Iβve had the opportunity to interact with has been very polite, helpful and professional. Working with AMVETS, in particular my VSO representative Victoria Burgess, has been a great experience. I would recommend this organization to any service member or veteran who needs assistance with the VA.β
βYou will be hard pressed to meet nicer people than the employees at this place!
Sarah is a real nice woman and the cashier's inside are nice, eager to help, friendly, etc....
Love the people working at this place!
God Bless them!β
βWorked with Starletta the manager and Anna in person and had a great time working through some visitations per temporary parenting plan. You can apply for a sliding scale pricing based on income and they were very flexible and empathetic and helped me through that transition with kindness.β
βAmvets processed my Disability upgrade and got me 60% at NO Cost to me. It's a shame and aDisgrace that some agencies charge a Veteran for processing any kind of Disability Upgrade. Especially when they Defend this Country, United States ?? of America! AMVETS is a Non-profit, but I became a member of Amvets Post #1 Tacoma Washington in 1996!this Great country, The United States ?? of America!β
βI appreciate your facility-I went to another branch in Tacoma for awhile & in the last year I have switched to Tacoma Center. I recently visited my βoldβ Y & was stunned at how much more comfortable I am at Tacoma Center! The vibe is so friendly & people are genuinely interested in me (employees & other members!) Tacoma Center is very clean & has great classes & instructors. Thank you!β

βThe Discovery Shop has alway been my favorite place to shop. Since I moved away my visits are less frequent but I ALWAYS gravitate to this unique and much appreciated shopping experience!β
βLast Year my daughter had a great time at the boys and girls club. The staff was first class to me and her. And the safety of the kids was handle in the most professional way. I have sign her up for another summer.β
βIt's a very safe place for people under 24 if you're either Lesbian, Gay or Transgender, I highly recommend coming here if you're part of the LGBTQ community.β

βI'm really grateful that we have services such as TCH. Not only did they help with applying to citizenship, but they also helped me with finding a job. The class was very informative on what employers look for in a candidate, and how to write a well balanced rΓ©sumΓ© for the best chance at landing a job. The staff is very friendly, and super helpful. Thanks to everyone at TCH.β

βGreat place to exercise and bring kids for extracurricular activities. The facilities are a bit outdated but plans for remodeling are coming soon. The staff is amazing and have great attitudes.β
βAs a volunteer shopper, I can offer nothing but high praise for the hard working staff and other volunteers. They are dedicated, empathic and mission focused. The clients we serve are incredibly appreciative of all we do and most come away incredibly thankful that we are there for them. If you are in need as a client or want to volunteer, this is the place for you.β

βShockingly good interaction with staff. They are always positive, and never short. Though always well grounded, they don't get much of a charge out of electrical puns. I guess they either lack the power, or just capacity to appreciate them. #LifeChoicesβ

βThis business is located in The Sprague Building which was built in 1889-1890 and added to the National Register of Historic Places 1985. This is a beautiful historic building and a must see.β
βThe food bank is open every weekday, except for Wednesday from 10am-3pm, closed for lunch from 10:30-noon, I believe, and always has a good assortment of yummy nums to offer... never the same, but always enough to tide us over for a few days to a week even, sometimes. I haven't stayed in the shelter part of SA, but I know people who have, most of the scuttlebutt was good...as per anything else that they offer, I assume it is as fine a quality as what I have already seen there. A place that honors and appreciates the community they're in, doing a great job of giving back to help those in need of any variety of services and/or items. A helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Volunteers are often in evidence and are very helpful and personable as well.β
βIt was such an incredible experience. The staff were amazing at answering any questions we had about potential alterations. They were so helpful in picking out the perfect dress that would work for me. I could not have had a bettter experience. I paid $800 for a very beautiful dress. They also offered to hold it for 24 hours whereas the Seattle location only offered till the end of the day. I preferred this location much more than Seattle location. Huge variety at a great cost. 10/10 experienceβ
