“Went to the store to see if they had bookends. They basically did not have any, except for single, expensive ones that were not what I had in mind!Don't quite understand why they don't have what I needed. It's a book store! I need 12 or 14 sets, for my new shelving needs.Stephen C HAYES ?”

“Was looking for Poulini's book, MURTAGH to buy. Had to order it.Also found 5 DVD MOVIES, FOR $2.00 apiece. Checked out everything in the store. Was quite busy, for a Wednesday. Checked out their written music shelf. Nothing was available for the kind of music that I was looking for. But, I still think that HALF PRICE BOOKS is a great place to get hard to find articles”

“Super cute book store ! As a book lover I was obsessed with! It's fairly big with a great big selection of books to choose from . Everyone is so friendly and kind . The price isn't far off from Amazon either and you get to support a local bookstore ! It's truly every book lover dreams come true . The cafe however was okay . My drink was overall too sweet even after asking for diff options. But books made it better”

“Cozy, welcoming, exhaustive, not overly precious. Love Paper Boat. It's my local bookstore and go to place for all kids birthday gifts. The place isn't huge, but they always have the things I want or can get it shipped asap. They also have very well curated cute ephemera, tchotchkes, and gifts, and I always leave with at least one sheet of/ large puffy sticker as a motivation prize for the Child.”

“TONS of CDs! I was really surprised at how big their selection was here. The staff were super friendly. Everything was fairly priced, if a tiny bit more than I've seen elsewhere. Not the worst though considering how vast the store is.”

“Really attractive and comfortable independent poetry store. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and more than happy to suggest works of interest. They can also special-order any book not in stock.”

“This bookstore was a great surprise! Manga, collectibles, posters galore!! I absolutely love the choices. Only thing is because they are packing in so many selections there are books everywhere!! Tables are filled up. They deserve so much more space for all the entertainment and materials they are providing us!!”

“I am confident when I say this is the prettiest bookstore in seattle! I wasn't even looking to buy any books, but I still had a great time stopping in and browsing around. I recognized some old favorites and spotted some books I was interested in as well (good mix of modern and classic books). My friends and I even browsed through a children's book and it was so cute! What I love most about this bookstore is the architecture of the arched ceilings and how aesthetic it is. The space is also filled with art and I especially loved the watercolor prints of farmers markets!! There was a constant stream of people without it ever getting too busy or crowded. I highly recommend having a pioneer square shopping day and coming in :)”

“Best used and new bookstore I've ever visited! Pegasus is where I go anytime I'm moving on to my next read. No more online or big box book shopping for this household :) They also have the most reasonable and affordable trade-in programs! It actually encourages folks to buy used. The staff are incredible! They know books well -- ask for suggestions! You will not be disappointed. Their location is not convenient for me, but the 25 minute drive is worth it, every time. As long as we live in Seattle, Pegasus is the place we'll shop for books. In fact, I'm going today to get a couple books I have on hold. Thanks, Pegasus!!!”

“Really enjoyed this bookstore and we walked away with books the two times I went while visiting! Super nice that they are used and have a huge selection. I was shocked by their ample cookbook collection and found one by bad manners for a great price ! The owner was very friendly and offered to help us with the stack to get our book we wanted. Definitely stop here! They have lots of new releases and popular books!”

“As a reading addict, i discover a book i want, and call Page2, then get a call or txt couple days later..very happily shop there to fill my book need. Very pleasant folks, always happy. I go there about every month, never have to go elsewhere. Besides special orders, their displays get my attention for best sellers, etc. Page2 is a happy place for me. They can get me any book from anywhere.”

“Alleluia Bookstore is amazing. I ordered The Great Adventure Bible from them and they shipped it to me immediately! I was shocked to have it delivered to me the very next day after I placed my order. I appreciated their help when I had questions regarding what kind of cover it had (I got the leather one). I wanted a pliable leather and it is. Thank you for your help Alfredo, and for shipping it so quickly!!!”

“Cute & clean little book store! Lots of options both new and used. Plus you can trade in books for credit. It's great to have a local shop to support rather than giving my money to big online retailers.”

“A gem of a find in the depths of Pike Place Market. A good mix of new and previously owned books, packed to the rafters and smelling just like a bookstore should. The prices were fair and the selection impressive for such a small space. Worth a special trip or getting off the beaten tourist path to visit!”

“Absolutely loved our visit to this bookstore at Pike Place Market! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a delightful selection of children's books, like the adorable Bernstein Bears Valentine's edition we found for my son. A charming spot to explore and find treasures!”

“Tucked away in the lower levels of Pike Place Market, this Mom & Pop bookstore is one of my favourite little shops in Seattle. I always take an interest in whatever print projects they've got on the burner, knowing that they work directly with artists/authors and design all their beautiful books in-house. Small publishing houses like this one are a rarity in today's digital age, so I love supporting them in any way I can. Keep up the wonderful work!”

“Omg my kids and I are all obsessed with this store. Some gems in the kids used clothing, and the curation of items for adults (moms mostly) is delightful and hard to resist. I've spent more money on myself than my kids there, ha. Enjoy.”

“A cute lil bookshop right in front of Pike Place Market! I stumbled upon this bookshop while walking to Pike Place and I just had to stop by. It's a tradition of mine to buy a book and bookmark while on a trip so this was a serendipitous find. This quaint spot feels like something out of a book with two levels to skim through many volumes of books. Upstairs, they had little nooks where you could cozy up with a book and look out the window to see a view of Pike Place. A great find in Seattle!”

“We were slightly early for a brunch reservation at a nearby restaurant while walking through the alley I spotted Post Alley Kids. My son was instantly intrigued by the car and toy selection right at the door. While my daughter was drawn to the crafts section. I really liked the unique kids apparel, and personalized feel the overall store ambiance yields. The service was good, there was only one person working on a Sunday and she was understandably busy but courteous to everyone whom walked in. If you have little ones and you're at the market make sure to include Post Alley Kids in your visit, your little people will thank you.”

“This is a dimmly lighted dark wood lined, stuff glued to the ceiling classic pub. The menu consists of scotch and whiskey and a few mixed drinks. It rarely changes and everyone comes back. If you just want a quiet place to relax, have a scotch, and admire the collection of oddities you can't go wrong here.”
