“One of the best Dollar Trees in Washington. It’s very clean and well stocked with viral TikTok beauty finds! It’s an older store but very clean, no dirt on the floors and shelves are nicely displayed. I’ll be back for sure! Love the BPure products. The staff seem to enjoy working here. They take a lot of pride in keeping this place orderly. The boss seems to know his stuff too. You can tell his staff all get along. Keep up the good work!”
“Definitely better prices than a majority of other grocery stores in or around Seattle. Only thing is it's not uncommon for them to be out of stock of some staple products, like cream of wheat.”
“Daiso had so many different types of items, all for excellent prices. Price guides helped understand pricing. Super easy self check out process! Found some super cute Sanrio stuff for only $2.25! As exports it would easily be quadruple the price! I will be returning! :)”
“This store is amazing! What I love about it is that it’s got produce like you can never find ever before. And the prices are very affordable and sometimes I even wonder how that is profitable for them. This is definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at.”
“Everyone who worked here was friendly. They seemed to have a large staff working, and you could tell that they actually enjoy working here.
They offer a lot of variety for options and surprisingly have a lot of organic and good quality food for a great price! It’s not necessarily name-brand items, seems like more of small business items that are offered, but they’re great! A lot of product seems to have shorter shelf life, but it’s definitely long enough that you can eat it in time. I price checked a lot of my core items with near-by places and they are definitely cheaper and better quality ingredients. Pleasantly surprised by here and will definitely make it more of a frequent shop!”
“A rare find! It is exceptionally low prices for quality clothing.
Very well arranged and clean.
The service is good and everyone was welcoming.
I have not seen this much quality in a thrift shop.”
“My boyfriend always takes me to the grocery outlet they have great selections for meats and their salmon prices are good. In fact everything you need that the other stores prices are high. It works well for me. Aloha”
“Love this store and LOVE the employees! They are always super sweet, helpful and kind and that’s really important to me. Also, the health food items here are what income for and the savings I get is incredible. Somewhere around a 40% savings on buying the products somewhere else. I buy my mushroom powders here, collagen, gluten free products and supplements as well as beauty products that are clean, with less harmful ingredients. They do a great job at having some really niche products. Kudos?”
“Each grocery outlet is different. You'll find some products at one store and some products at another. But what you will find like everywhere else is at the prices are going up up up up up up.”

“Had what I was looking for, selection is somewhat limited depending on what you are after but overall I would say you should take a look because the prices are good.”
“Lots of great stuff!! I like their selection of stick-on faux wall tiles. And I was able to find a lot of nice Tupperware. Literally left with 2 shopping carts full. That's how good this store is. Lol.”
“Fascinating store. A bit of something for everyone. It is best to not go in trying to find a specific item but when I asked the clerk she was able to cheerfully walk straight to what I needed. I will be back.”
“This is what all grocery outlets should strive to be like, big and very clean and well stocked (the MLT grocery outlet on the other hand is too big/open to the point of being uncomfortable/ugly). Lots of open cash registers, love the lights indicating which ones are open or not. It was clean. And the decor made the place feel like it has a soul/the owner actually cares about making the store interesting looking.”
“If you decide to come here for furniture ask for Richard. He helped my family and I buy a couch today, and couldn’t have been anymore nice. All around a great experience. Very grateful! Thank you- Mr.Richard 😊”
“Kesha was so nice to me and my mom and super positive. This store is super clean compared to all the other dollar trees in the whole Seattle area. They were super sweet. The whole store was busy with a long line at the register and they were still nice and kind!”
“What can I say about the DT on Washington Ave. in Kent? Well, I've been shopping at this DT since July of 2025. Up to that point, I've never stepped foot inside a DT before, so the stacked aisles, torando-blasted cluttery chaos, and great values hit me all at once, causing somewhat of a slight sensory overload. While I managed to process this eclectic mix of stimuli, the one key point I feel that really made this DT worth shopping at, are the Customer Service Associates who work here. I received friendly, cordial checkout in a timely manner by Linda, who is one of the main cashiers here. Keep in mind, some DT workers are doing double, sometimes triple duties on any given shift, for instance, if there's down-time, a cashier might float over to an aisle and stock product, go to the back and unload freight and scan/account for inventory before heading back to the front to help customers again. This is all done in the name of keeping cost low, for us, the customers. If you can look past the occasional stacks of packed aisles, random (non-sober) customer created chaos, and one register being open on any given time of the day, then you'll have an awesome shopping experience here at the Dollar Tree on Washington Avenue in the Kent Valley.”
“where I can find lots of cool things
The staff are courteous; items are arranged in a way that makes them easy to find and clearly visible. Essential and useful supplies are always fully stocked, the premises are clean and tidy, and security is well-assured.
Spacious parking lot.”
“I was shopping for Halloween decor and art supplies.
Great decor but it was a little low on some art supplies.
Hopefully just not on the shelf yet.
I have found you can't meet their prices anywhere else.
Limited cashiers but the cashier was pleasant and efficient.
The merchandise was orderly and store well organized and clean.
I highly recommend the store. Nice variety.
Ample parking in their lot and on the street.”
“Manager or supervisor was being very patient with the lead cashier (didn’t get her name but it’s the taller gal with black glasses and braids, not Kisha). That lady was back talking her in front of about 7 customers, and had this weird attitude with us the customers. Bummer for the staff as well as the customers”
“You know the only thing bad I can say about the dollar store is that it’s not the dollar store it’s the dollar 25 store so I don’t know other than that. I go here to get a few essentials just because everywhere else it’s three times the price I don’t know why that’s fair but thank you dollar store. I I love the garlic bread.”
“We stopped at this Daiso inside Westfield Southcenter during our family trip to Seattle, and it ended up being a fun little shopping stop.
My wife, daughter, and mother-in-law spent at least 30 minutes browsing here and found a mix of cute items, small gifts, and a few practical home items. Our 3-year-old daughter also enjoyed picking out a few things herself, which made it a fun stop for her too.
The store was clean and easy enough to browse. Daiso aisles are usually a little tight, but this location felt fine and manageable. Checkout was quick, and prices seemed cheaper than what we are used to at Daiso back home in Hawaiʻi.
I also appreciated that there was a paid massage chair right outside the store, which gave me a nice place to wait while everyone shopped.
Overall, this was a nice stop if you’re already at Southcenter and want inexpensive gifts, cute items, or small household goods. We’d definitely come back.”
