I’ve come to talk to a manger twice after getting not so great service at other branches concerning delicate situations and the managers at this branch are always so kind and understanding. Today i came in and the two ladies that assisted me (one was a manager) were patient, showed genuine care, and did what they could to help and talked me through any issues. “Updated: Got a used car loan for a private sale and they didn't get the vehicle titled the vehicle for weeks (due to some crossed up address on the document), meaning it couldn't get registered to drive. This caused me to have to get temporary vehicle transportation tags for it multiples times, which was annoying and costly.
However, to their credit, they were happy to reimburse me for the costs incurred for the mistake after the fact, and that was a reasonable resolution. To be fair, this would not happy on a dealer sale, only private, and the underlying cause was not fully their fault.”

“There was fraudulent activity on my bank card detected. I received a alert on my phone and the agent asked if I was using my card for a transaction that I didn't approve. After answering the security attached to my account, the agent was able to stop my card and remove the purchase I didn't approve. I was able to go to my branch office and get a new card in no time so I could update my accounts with automatic payments for bill I have monthly.”

I was a member of a big bank and switched because of the care and customer service I receive here. Things happen in life and they understand that and will work with you to fix a situation before allowing your account to collect fees or cause you trouble. I love everything about Yakima Federal!”
“Yakima federal savings and loan was the place we came across when we were looking for a local bank to help service our home loan. From the home loan perspective they have been very helpful, able to get us a very good rate and have made the process of mobile banking relatively easy. They recently introduced an app it allows you to deposit checks with your phone. This didn't seem like a big deal until we started using it. Admittedly, they are a little behind in the implementation, but it works very well and on the hall has been really nice. The people that work at the branches are helpful and pleasant,making most ordinary banking issues pretty seamless. The reason this local bank doesn't get the five star bump is because they don't offer a lot of the ancillary loan services. After joining, we found out they don't do new or used car loans, and also found out it's relatively difficult to do Interbank transfers. Interestingly, many of the folks who work here we're on aware that the services are unavailable as they seemed pretty basic to normal banks. I'm sure they have their reasons, but it sure would be nice to be able to get all things standard bank related done at one location- c'est la vie! All in all, it's a solid place that does home loans and checking accounts really well, but outside of that, at least for the standard participant, there's not as much offered as we would've expected.”
