“We found a Sandhill Crane watercolor we love at a great price. We were offered framing services and were surprised how affordable that was. Very happy with the service. We will definitely be returning to check out available artwork in the future, and if we need anything professionally framed.”
“We've followed Tom Relth's work for more than ten years -- from his studio work at North Bank Artists Gallery; multiple showings at Open Studio; his own studio, Above & Below, in downtown Vancouver and now at 17th Street, uptown; and in downtown Portland. He works in a variety of media and styles, from the abstract to the literal, sometimes in monochrome, sometimes in vibrant colors, but always with distinction. His larger works, including triptychs and expansive murals, have been displayed at banks, public buildings, and commercial businesses and at shows and universities throughout the Southwest Washington metropolitan area. His work as part of the Art Inside/Out project, which displayed works to the public from storefronts in Vancouver during the Pandemic, is still on display at Nom Nom at 801 C Street, almost four years later. It involved an innovative process in which different works were electronically printed on both sides of alloy sheeting so that viewers can see his work both from inside the establishment and the street.Tom Relth brings not only an artist's sensibility to his work but also an informed understanding of printing, construction, and carpentry, which makes his work unique. Of lesser interest, but also important, he keeps to his word both on deadlines and costs.-G.E. & Steven Baer”
“What a FANTASTIC class! Andrew, our instructor, was great. Not only was his instruction clear and fascinating, he was super fun, too. We learned a lot and had a blast. Our group was aged 40s to 70s and we all had a terrific time. Highly recommended!!!!”
“I had a nice piece of art "woman dancing with a child" I bought for my wife as a tribute to her years of working with very young kids with disabilities, thinking it was a bronze.. knocked over by a cat, breaking in several places. My wife was so saddened.. I sent it to Jason, who found it was some other alloy and very difficult to weld back to original form.. but his work and knowledge came through and restored it. It looks a good as originally done. I can't see where it was broken now. I surprised my wife with it fixed.. she was overjoyed.. Thank you Jason for your time talent and expertise. Alan”
