“We got a brand new, in the box, bedside commode no questions asked. This is an amazing place.
I just wanted to add some pictures. I had a hip replacement. My son went to the Caring Closet. He got a twin electrical hospital bed the walker that I needed the bedside commode and the riser for the toilet all free. It was such a big help because I live on very limited income . Thank you, Caring Closet. You have been a blessing. We’ve cleaned it all up and took it back to the Caring Closet so others can use it as well. It’s an amazing place.”

“Hello! I highly recommend this adoption center; this is where I adopted my Blue-fronted Amazon parrot. The process is quick—especially if you have prior experience—and the staff members are very kind. It is a highly trustworthy establishment, the prices are very reasonable, and the caregivers are both friendly and affectionate. They provide the cage and the bird's travel carrier, as well as a very extensive care package that includes bags of food, plenty of treats, and even books covering topics such as the bird's diet, general training, and a guide on plants that are toxic to birds. They also provide a large container of prepared seeds, a blender, a spray bottle for bathing the bird, and even a camera for monitoring them. The package is incredibly comprehensive! The adoption process is fast, and the staff are extremely pleasant. I recommend this place without reservation; furthermore, they spent two hours giving us detailed instructions on how to care for the birds. 100% recommended! They also work with Spanish speakers—I'm from Cuba! Good luck!”

“Volunteering at The Salvation Army has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The organization is truly dedicated to helping those in need, and the impact they make on the community is incredible. The environment is welcoming, and the staff and volunteers are passionate about their work.

One of the best people I met there was Amanda. She is an amazing person—kind, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand. Her positivity and dedication to helping others were inspiring, and she made every shift enjoyable. She truly embodies the spirit of The Salvation Army.

If you’re looking for a place to volunteer where you can make a real difference, I highly recommend The Salvation Army. It’s a great place with great people, and the work they do is truly life changing.”

“My mom’s cat crossed the rainbow bridge today. The staff here were very understanding, friendly, helpful all the things you’d look for in the people who help your pet cross over. The only thing I would have liked done differently is they don’t allow the owner to be in the room when the pet passes away.”

“They have a good variety of food. You didn't want to be there the 1st hour it is very busy with a long line. Limited parking. The auto shop doesn't allow parking and the church next door doesn't either. You can however head through the parking lot to the auto parking lot and wait in a line to park (2 cars at a time). Limited Street parking.”

“Awesome Program for the Pacific Islander family. I was speechless when I found out this people put their effort to help our people. It did help me to get back on track with what I need. “Long story short” I am grateful and thankful for PICA for coming through, helping me when my husband had surgery past month and admitted twice in one month, no medication & other medical supplies was covered, but I have to paid it off so he can get medicine & supplies through the month. So, later of the the same month my utility bills come pile up and get to the point my final disconnection notice comes in & this is when PICA steps in help me back on track.

One day I set with Johanna my “daughter name sake ”.lol. She had a heart helping our pacific island family. Like I said I didn’t expect anything will be going through but she “ Johanna” made a call next day everything was paid in full. I guess it was God’s timing and I praise Him for coming through his people. Like what my Pastor said “Everyone matters and Jesus He loves each & everyone” & we are all God children”
I am not ashamed to shair this because it is my story to tell. Thank you PICA bless to you all

“A lot of these posts are old. This is 2023. I've lived here almost 1 year. Personally I like it. I feel very safe and comfortable. It is clean and maintained. Everyplace has there problems but I feel like the Staff does a good job handling things. With this many people living in a complex there are bound to be conflicts. I have never seen any abuse or disrespect. Personality conflicts between tenants is minimal. What do you expect when you put a bunch of old opionated people together?”
