“We have found our favorite music and movie store! This place is amazing! I could spend the entire day browsing their massive selection! I found some very rare used music and the CDs were in wonderful condition. They do have new CDs and the prices are great but man, what a selection of used media! So worth a trip, especially for die hard physical media fans.”
“Very nice new bookstore. Owners really make an effort to know the inventory. Lots of opportunities to interact with others over books. Would definitely recommend checking it out when looking for books.”
“Cozy, welcoming, exhaustive, not overly precious. Love Paper Boat. It's my local bookstore and go to place for all kids birthday gifts. The place isn't huge, but they always have the things I want or can get it shipped asap. They also have very well curated cute ephemera, tchotchkes, and gifts, and I always leave with at least one sheet of/ large puffy sticker as a motivation prize for the Child.”
“Best used and new bookstore I've ever visited! Pegasus is where I go anytime I'm moving on to my next read. No more online or big box book shopping for this household :) They also have the most reasonable and affordable trade-in programs! It actually encourages folks to buy used. The staff are incredible! They know books well -- ask for suggestions! You will not be disappointed. Their location is not convenient for me, but the 25 minute drive is worth it, every time. As long as we live in Seattle, Pegasus is the place we'll shop for books. In fact, I'm going today to get a couple books I have on hold. Thanks, Pegasus!!!”
“Lovely local bookstore! Good selection of books for children and adults, (did not really see any comics, but that's ok!) They sell a nicely curated collection of new and used titles and the clerk I spoke to was excited to have us! An excellent experience overall and a real gem of a bookstore!”
“Three Trees Books is a true gem. The store is beautifully curated. You can tell the owners have worked hard to create a space that radiates friendliness. Their online ordering system is also fantastic—easy to use and a great way to support a local treasure.”
“A Seattle institution, founded in 1976, and located in a charmer of a brick and mortar in the historic Georgetown neighborhood, sharing opposite sides of a space with Georgetown Records, Fantagraphics is a great place to visit! Full of art, history and just plain fun publications, readers of all ages will find something cool.”
“This place has a llama the classics and so much more. I've had an injury so I'm doing a lot of reading and they have come through on so many titles. Prices are very fair and the books are in great shape. We are lucky to have this in gig harbor. Now if only a good restaurant or two.”
“We spent the day in Gig Harbor, and this was an obligatory stop. I was very impressed with the curated collections, and wanted to buy everything! The owner (I am assuming it was the owner) was super friendly - will definitely come back when I am in Gig Harbor again.”
“Fantastic bookstore! I went in there a few days ago in search of a novel for my husband and got a recommendation from one of the knowledgeable staff persons. And she was right -- it's a great book, and my husband is already thoroughly enjoying it. We're so lucky to have a high-quality, independent bookstore on our island!”
