“Very happy with my first order, the care during packaging and wrapping each book individually for a safe delivery (books came in perfect condition despite being shipped to the other side of the country) with a support staff that is friendly and super quick to respond with help. This will be my primary go to online bookshop from now on”
“Great vibe, but the mural on the back wall is something else… an incredible piece of art that celebrates so many of our home-town musicians. Thank you for helping keep music something you feel and touch.”
“Such a lovely book store on the junction. They have a great variety of books, a large kids section along with events like book clubs, children's story readings on the weekends, author signings, and fun deals around some holidays or special events. They also provide free gift wrapping, and offer to send books and gift cards to anyone in the United States on your behalf!
Whenever I want to order a book, I do it through the Paper Boat Booksellers instead of Amazon. Support your local bookstores!!”
“Best used and new bookstore I've ever visited! Pegasus is where I go anytime I'm moving on to my next read. No more online or big box book shopping for this household :) They also have the most reasonable and affordable trade-in programs! It actually encourages folks to buy used. The staff are incredible! They know books well -- ask for suggestions! You will not be disappointed. Their location is not convenient for me, but the 25 minute drive is worth it, every time. As long as we live in Seattle, Pegasus is the place we'll shop for books. In fact, I'm going today to get a couple books I have on hold. Thanks, Pegasus!!!”
“Lovely local bookstore! Good selection of books for children and adults, (did not really see any comics, but that's ok!) They sell a nicely curated collection of new and used titles and the clerk I spoke to was excited to have us! An excellent experience overall and a real gem of a bookstore!”
“Three Trees Books is a true gem. The store is beautifully curated. You can tell the owners have worked hard to create a space that radiates friendliness. Their online ordering system is also fantastic—easy to use and a great way to support a local treasure.”
“A Seattle institution, founded in 1976, and located in a charmer of a brick and mortar in the historic Georgetown neighborhood, sharing opposite sides of a space with Georgetown Records, Fantagraphics is a great place to visit! Full of art, history and just plain fun publications, readers of all ages will find something cool.”
“The gentleman who runs this store is an absolutely wonderful soul. He talked to us about different books in his store, helped us find things we were looking for, even if they were on the very very top shelf, and generally just felt like a good person. Definitely glad we poked our head into this little shop.”
“This was my first time going to this book shop and it was an incredible experience. The gentleman running the store was very nice and welcoming and there was a great selection of books. I will definitely be coming back!”
“Great for locals and visitors. Wide selection and organization of books. Staff recommendations are spot on! We go anytime on Vashon now. New and used - can often find newly used. Beautiful cards and stickers.”
