181 Mathews Rd, WashougalLindsay and Matt are THE BEST! I brought my young dog there, 9 mos., and they took such great care of her. Matt took his time to answer all of my questions to assure me that she would be fine with them.From the lighting in the kennels to mirror the time of day at home to quiet time so the dogs could nap peacefully. One of them was always outside with the dogs to monitor them and be sure the "pack" got along ;)They would only let dogs that they felt were a good fit play together on the property. They also took into consideration how young my dog was and took extra care with her because of her age.They were on it!Since I haven't boarded her before I was nervous to leave her. No worries there. Lindsay kept in touch with me with texting and sending pictures. I will definitely take her there again and am so happy and LUCKY that I found them!Thank you again, Lindsay and Matt~

3801 S Truman St #1, WashougalWe decided to give their newest location, a try. Having been fans of their original location down near the waterfront in amongst all of the warehouses. We could tell that things were a little choppy and irregular as they had just opened. One of the typical things that happens is service can get really slow and it did for us this evening as it took us more than 45 minutes to get our order which was basically just a couple of burgers which, by the way, we're really excellent. I would highly recommend the Smashburger. I'm curious to learn about the pizza. Perhaps on our next visit we can give that a try. The people are nice. They try to be very helpful. It's a nice addition to Washougal as when you get right down to it there aren't very many decent places to eat in Washougal that aren't chains so it's kind of cool to have this place open now.

2675 Index St, WashougalI can express my gratitude to the beautiful caring souls who work here. After being on the wait-list to surrender 2 tween-age cats were found at the Stevenson fairgrounds. We are outside their jurisdiction so we went on the wait-list. I'm glad we waited. We got some time in with them & really enjoy our time getting to know these kitties. By the time there was an opening we had learned enough about them to make sure they were adoptable. They take really great care of the animals that they provide shelter and care for. All their needs are met with such care, compassion and love. We are also able to check in on them to see how they are till they are adopted out. Another plus is if they're new owners do not want them or can't take care of them anymore. They can be brought back in with open arms. How amazing is that!!? We need a shelter out here in skamania county because there are a ton of strays and abandoned animals out here. Again, I can't express my gratitude and appreciation for this humane society.
