Back Ground- Larz was rescued at less then 6 weeks . Eyes barely opened an could not walk. He had 6 different parasites and cigarettes burns an ticks on him. His Sister whom we also recused same day sadly didn’t make it from Long view to Battle Ground. We didn’t know if he would make it being so small under nourished and it was peek Covid so getting into vet was hard . But he survived!! ?? but it’s left him very traumatized . Little dogs as most know can be a bit yippee and big dog syndrome. Larz is that times ten . But once you get to know him and he sees you are kind he is biggest lover cuddler . I named him Larz but a client of mine named him Larz Larson . An now he thinks it’s his name . Larz has helped many Elderly Men with Dementia have a friend to cuddle . He loves elderly people ! Now you know a little about him .
We appreciated you taking the time today to assist us an we definitely will be back . So you can get to know him and see his sweet side .

It was his first time getting them done. it was amazing. He didn’t even nip at her like he does me.. I am so thankful . I will be returning!! I actually give her 10 stars or more

VCA Battle Ground Animal Hospital
118 Southwest 15th Avenue, Battle GroundI had such a wonderful experience at VCA Animal Hospital in Battle Ground on September 3rd. I had to bring both of my pitbulls, Roxy and Ruger, in by myself while also having my 1 month old baby with me, and everyone there was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding.
They were kind enough to put us in a room where we could wait comfortably with both dogs and the baby. Thankfully, my dogs were very well behaved and my baby slept for most of the appointment, but I still really appreciated how accommodating everyone was.
The veterinarian ended up running a little behind, but the staff was so apologetic and kind about it. I was there a little over 2½ hours, which honestly wasn’t too far beyond the expected appointment end time, and I never felt like anyone was frustrated or inconvenienced by us.
Toward the end of the appointment, my baby started crying really hard. The staff was so understanding that they let me leave through the emergency exit and told me I could take care of payment after I had gotten home. They even offered to help me get everything loaded into my vehicle. Those little things made such a huge difference to me as a mom, a first time one for that matter, who was there alone with two dogs and a newborn.
There was unfortunately one mix-up with the fecal samples I brought in for Roxy and Ruger. I had brought a container with separated and labeled fecal samples for each dog, but I found out two weeks later that the samples sadly weren’t run or were lost. It’s definitely a bummer, especially because my husband is currently working such long hours 7 days a week right now, he is gone before they open and still working after they close, and I am currently without my vehicle as well; lol but those are just me problems at least they are willing to take more samples. But sadly getting new samples in right now isn’t very easy for me.
That said, accidents happen, and this did not change how positive my overall experience was. When I called about it, the woman I spoke with was extremely kind and reassuring and told me there was no rush and that I could bring another sample whenever I was able, even if that ended up being a few months from now. I really appreciated that.
Overall, I would highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital in Battle Ground. Every person I interacted with was kind, compassionate, patient, and genuinely helpful. As a mom who had to manage two dogs and a tiny baby on my own that day, their kindness meant more to me than they probably realized. ❤️

Alder Creek Veterinary Clinic
209 Southeast 1st Street, Battle GroundA massive thank you to everyone at Alder Creek for everything you've done for my fur babies this week. Unfortunate circumstances led to both of our kiddos needing care within the exact same week—one with an ear infection, and the other getting into a bag of granola with toxic raisins.
Both situations had varying degrees of time-sensitivity, and your team was able to fit us in both times on short notice. Whether you were short-staffed or had to shift things around to make it work, I would have never been the wiser.
Luckily, I was able to catch the raisin situation as it happened, and Alder Creek was right there to have my back—quickly getting the toxins out of her system, hopefully with very few lasting effects.
To the crew as a whole, our family would like to say a big thank you.

Enzos Dog Training
1515 S Parkway Ave, Battle GroundWe brought our 7 month old puppy to Enzo's last month after realizing our training attempts at home were not enough. Worst of all, she was really reactive to other dogs. I've always been able to train my dogs on my own so I was pretty nervous about being judged or shamed. Enzo's could not have done more to ease my fears. They were so engaged, communicative, and non-judgmental. I was shocked when I saw pictures of her on Instagram 2 days after we dropped her off and she was playing with other dogs! When we picked her up 2.5 weeks later, Natalie brought out the puppy I knew was behind all the energy and chaos. Natalie was so great at training not just me, but my husband and kids how to reinforce all our pup had learned while there. Kudos to DJ, too for checking in after we brought her home to schedule a follow up session.

Man's Best Friend
1611 SW 20th Ave, Battle GroundThe team at Man's Best Friend did a great job boarding Louie for over two weeks while we went away on vacation. Louie takes time to get used to humans and needs to be kept separated from other dogs and MBF came through without any issues. We will certainly use them again in the future and if you have a difficult dog, they are worth a shot. We had complete peace of mind while we were overseas. Check them out!

I cannot recommend this place enough.
The restaurant has a very fun and cozy vibe. The food was amazing! The whole family loved it even those that typically don’t care for sushi enjoyed it.
We placed a large take out order for a family get together. The restaurant was awesome we got there before our order was ready and they apologized for the wait and made sure we were comfortable. When everything was ready they made sure we had tons of sauce and anything we needed. They were very attentive.

Great energy. I already knew this was going to be good. Service was outstanding, food absolutely delicious, so fresh. Restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was a vibe. Me and my wife were visiting from Las Vegas and were completely blown away. Great hospitality👏 definitely recommend this place! We'll definitely be back.

The view was incredible, we visited two other vineyards, 14 acres and Bethany but the view here from the deck was the best by far!!

I went in alone driving back from an event...I was welcomed with genuine smiles, sat at the counter, it was impressive to see the teamwork amongst the ladies, food was hot fresh, delicious. Northwest burger with the grilled whole jalepeno and fry sauce was DELICIOUS so much flavor! juicy burger patty. Tots were hot and perfectly crispy. Ice tea with lemon was refreshing. Excellent service! Excellent food. Place was popping. Lots of in house dining..loved the TVs with World Cup on , tons of to go food orders...popular for a reason! Thank you. A must when I'm in the area again. Bummed I missed breakfast. I'm sure the biscuits and gravy are worth the hype because lunch was awesome. Fair prices too!
