  9. Doug's Hood River - 101 Oak St

101 Oak St, Hood River OR 97031

    4.4 Superb 99 reviews

“I decided to learn to ski last year, and went in to Doug's with only a snowboarding background and the most basic knowledge of ski equipment. The guys in the shop were extremely knowledgeable, took their time explaining things to me without making me feel like a fool, and got me into a set of boots that fit me almost perfectly. This year I had a hot spot on one foot and went back in to get it figured out, and they remembered me from last year! They were able to get some space punched out and had the boot ready for me the next day. I am extremely grateful their service and appreciate the wealth of knowledge they freely share. Thank you!”

“Update: customer service called me and took care of my problem. This is a great example of taking a bad experience and making it into a good experience. Original review: I've ordered with them for years but on my last order they didn't correct my invoice to reflect a coupon they offered. I notified them within 15 minutes of the order. Disappointing result for long time customer.”
