“I’m extremely grateful for Nathan and the team helping me purchase my husband a new smoker for our anniversary. Not only was there a really good deal, but they were able to deliver it to my home as well. Everyone was so helpful and kind!”

“Steins Ace Hardware is one of the Best stores in Yakima and the State of Washington. The service and helpful staff truly care and are accommodating with extremely friendly attitudes. I purchased a Stihl weed-eater at this store a few years ago and love the quality as well as helpful service that comes with it. I recently lost the spring on the head and instead of purchasing the whole assembly, I went in to see if I could just buy the spring instead of the complete head attachment. I asked Brad (store employee) if they sold the spring only because I didn’t see it on a store shelf. He said that he would check in the shop and see if there was one back there. He came back up and said that they didn’t have one in back but he would take one out of another part box and sell it to me, then order one for the store replacement. This to me is OVER THE TOP Customer Service and helped me complete my farm project that night. I have never been let down or had an issue with Steins and know that I will get what I paid for as well as a Satisfied Customer. Thank you Steins for being the BEST Hardware Store on The Planet!”

“Highly recommend this small business. They got me in quickly and were HONEST when I had tires installed. I thought I had brand new tires and they were actually slightly used. I wouldn’t have known, but there was a price difference and they charged me the cheaper price. You have a loyal customer in me and could not recommend enough.”

“I love Morton's. It's got that old school vibe and feel to it. I mostly go for metal supplies, but walking through the stuff outside is always fun. No other place in Yakima has weird, quirky, antique industrial stuff from fifty years ago. Morton's is a time capsule, and all in a good way. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing!”

“Ivar is the man. On more than one occasion hes gone out of his way to travel after normal business hours with the parts needed to get us back in operation. Whenever Im planning a project I always contact him first to see if CES can get me what Im looking for and havent been disappointed yet. Great customer service, knowledgeable team.”

“We have been going to Country Farm and Garden for the better part of nearly 10 years now. Until 2023, we lived in Ellensburg but, would make the trip down every spring to get what we needed for a beautiful summer landscape. We now live in Yakima and still rely on them to come through at the beginning of every growing season and they do. Yes, to be honest, their prices are sometimes on the high side compared to competitors but, the quality of the plants, the selection, and the obvious care that is evident each time we are there to maintain the quality of the inventory, keeps us coming back. Sure, we could spend less at Home Depot or Lowes but, I am old school.......support your local businesses. Old fashioned........maybe but, give them a shot. You'll see the value.”

“I tried without success to submit a review online after my visit to Loew's Yakima store on May 21, 2022. Definitely operator error I think, but I am using this site because I feel strongly about my experience. I was looking for a bathroom cleaning product I found online. I looked through all the Zep products they had without finding the one I wanted. I need to say here that I have difficulty walking and standing for long periods. I looked for staff help and found Jon. He came with me to where the Zep products were and went through everything, not finding what I needed. He offered to go to the back somewhere to search. I few minutes later he came back with a box of exactly what I needed! I really appreciated his help! I also was helped by Bridgett at the check out counter. She chatted with me while she rang up each of the other items I chose in addition to the cleaner. We talked about our Memorial weekend plans which included both of us hosting family from out of town. She did all of this while quickly moving me through the check out area. I hope each of these two people get recognized for their excellent work. Donna Lund Great-five stars”

“I am a repeat customer due to their large amount of available products at fair prices. This location is representative of all other Home Depots I have been to in the PNW. I am nicking 1 star for the staff not always being knowledgeable on where products are located and if they do leading me to them.”

“I had a descent experience at the Lowe's home improvement, I guess the only complaint I had was that I was looking for a certain item and I swear I walked thru the entire store without seeing any employees to ask for help but with the help of my phone and the Lowe's app I was able to find what I was looking for so no big deal....”

“So easy to find things even in another city,we were helping a friend on Yakima and needed some stuff from Home Depot, only bad thing nobody was available to help but, everything was easy to find.”
