“I recently opened up an account with this bank at this branch. I moved from Maryland and I’m not really big on reviews. I really don’t care about them the way a lot of people do when they’re trying to decide to do business with someone or a business, but I felt the need and compelled to write this review Upon facts from my personal experience with this branch by far I have been treated with the upmost respect and integrity. They helped me with the issue that I had, which was a check that was mailed to me, wanting to make sure that it was a good check before I deposited into my account. I explained to them how I received it who sent it the envelope Everything that I received from FedEx so after doing some digging and checking, they came back and told me that this check is fraudulent if I would have deposited it and did the exact instructions to the letter that was sent with the check I would have been out almost $3000 Plus the wonderful local law-enforcement charges that I would have received on top of that would have been astronomical and I probably would have got a felony charge out of it as well. They would’ve charged me with trying to defraud a financial institution, but thank God it did not happen that way because they were able to verify and confirm that this check was bogus completely fake the account Number does not even exist with the bank that is listed on the check. They were so helpful and understanding with my situation, but I desperately needed money around this particular time I was dealing with family emergency, and my friends and family were in no position to be able to help me with my current cash shortfall. The woman that helped me with the check I explained the situation to her. She then stated to me that they do offer a short term and long-term unsecured and secured loans. I was skeptical at first I’m not going to lie because I’ve tried to get a personal loan in the past but my credit score did not exactly meet Bank of America‘s criteria, which I hate them by the way And I’m sure a lot of other people feel the same so I was like at this point what do I have to lose? The only thing they would do is tell me no right well this branch branch manager did something that I have never seen before. The original loan application was denied Then the woman that was helping me got the branch manager involved. She then did a manual review of my banking relationship with truest, and then she also looked at my credit and credit score. She manually went into their system and over read the denial and turned it into an approval. I’m not ashamed to admit this. I started crying. It’s nice to see and it’s very refreshing to see that there are still good people out here willing to help other people in their time of need and or crisis so because of this, I am forever grateful to this branch and this bank Because nobody else was willing to help me needless to say I got a $10,000 unsecured loan and I paid that off in a period of three years. Best of all I had almost a 0% interest rate so thank you truest and thank you ladies that work at this branch and the branch manager that truly helped me in my time of need”
