“Good place to have to stop on and grab something you forgot at the big grocery store. They have a bit of Amish things there and a daily hot food station to stop in and grab lunch or dinner on the go. Def a good option because there are no restaurants around the area and the only other hot food is Vmart and that's good but the country store has real southern dinner options to Chinese food depending on the day. They have a monthly calendar with what they have planned for each day.”
“Stopped in on my truck to pickup a few items. The store was clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a usually spot to stop with my tractor and trailer.”
“The staff is always friendly. The store does need more employees, therefore, more hours as it seems that upper management must feel that my time is theirs to waste as often the registerr is not manned at all times. They expect them to be in the back stocking shelves and have to run back and forth doing 2 or three jobs at once. Why make people stand in line to hand you money?”
“Enjoy shopping at this store.Convenient to get on and off Route 60.Friendly staff.It is annoying to not be able to look or reach certain things, due to the area being blocked by carts/dollies and other storage things, where whomever is responsible for stocking the shelves has pulled an Elvis and left the building.Am appreciative of DG, because going to wal-marts are impractical to me...with their football field-soze parking lots, people riding around on the motorized carts that can't drive them, and to just get a gallon of milk, you have to walk through the warehouse-sized store.”
“We are out of towners passing through for work and bought a tv on sale. When arriving home it didn't work so tried to return to our local Walmart. They had a time at returning it and refused..I had to call this Walmart back and Josh and Ashley went above and beyond to help me out and get my tv returned! Josh and Ashley need a raise and train other Walmart employees on how customer service works! A huge shout out to both of them!!”
“The employees were great as usual. Warm and friendly and willing to talk to their customers even tho they were extremely busy changing things around for holidays and restocking shelves. I'd rather go to the Chesapeake Dollar General than any other.”
