“10/10. Mounted and balanced my aftermarket wheels no problem. 2 of my wheels are painted and 2 are powdercoated. They had no issue with looking at my wheels first before saying they could do them. Very comfortable waiting area. Nice people. I can see why they've been in business so long! Will definitely come here again next time I need tires done.”
“My car literally broke down in the road right before Grease Monkey, and I coasted into their lot. My problem was immediately attended to and diagnosed. The part had to be ordered for installation the next day. While waiting for my daughter to pick me up and for my car to be finished the next day, I observed the mechanics treating each customer exactly as they had treated me: as if each of us was a priority. All of the mechanics were friendly, respectful, and kind. I feel they do solid work and do so in a positive manner. I recommend this location 100%!”

“I can not recommend this place enough. After my accident in January of 2026, my car was drivable, but cosmetically damaged - as well as some driving problems. My car was taken into the shop decently quick (as they are very busy with many cars). The receptionist Cher was such a sweet human being. Any time I called the shop for an update and asked my millions of questions, she was so reassuring, punctuate, and polite. They are amazing at giving updates and answers. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe they did some cleaning within my interior before handing me back my keys. They truly went out it of their way to help me! They seem to have a strong background with the owner, and may he rest in peace. They are fabulous here! I got my car back within a couple of months and it drives amazing, and looks perfect. The mechanics were genuinely authentic and kind, especially Chad. I interacted with him the most during this experience. If you need auto body damage repair - go here!!!!”

“WHERE DO I START. WELL WE GOT RIPPED OFF BY ANOTHER COMOPNAY WHEN TRUCK OVERHEATED , THAT PLACE LEFT US HIGH AND DRY.
HILLBILLY SEND OUT A TECH AND SPENT HOURS HELPING TO DO EVERYTHIGN THEY COULD , OVER AND BEYOND. WE HAD TO END UP TOWING THE TRUCK. THEY THEN HELPED US AT THE SHOP IT WAS TOWED TO( DEALER) AND ALSO DROPPED OFF DRIVER AT A HOTEL FOR US.
THE PRICE WAS MORE THAN REASONABLE, THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING . I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. IN THE WORLD OF TRUCKING WE GET RIPPED OFF WHEN OUT OF TOWN AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE PLACES LIKE THIS WHO CARE AND HELP AND DO NOT TAKE ADVATAGE.

“Wonderful. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I was traveling from Pennsylvania to South Carolina when I got a flat. I was by myself with 2 dogs. Gwynn Tire was the closet tire place to me. I called them and I spoke with Si. He told me to bring my car over and they would fit me in. They let me wait in the waiting room with 2 smalls dogs. They had me in and out with in an hour. Si was so nice and made me feel reassured that I was safe to get back on the road. I highly recommend this place!”

“Took my MDX there when the transmission completely failed. Here is the thing, the bad reviews you are seeing are from the type of people that expect their car to be fixed within a few days. Somehow people expect them to have every single specific part from their certain transmission and have them slap it together within a few days? They have dissect your transmission, find what was the problem, order OEM parts and once they come in they reassemble the transmission, reinstall and then test it. Melvins is not McDonalds, they are not going to have it done in an instant. I do not know of any other place that could do so unless it was from a dealership that has the said parts or rebuilt transmissions on standby and many technicians to get it in and out of there but the price will most likely exceed the cost of your entire vehicle.
Melvins at the time only had 2 guys and now have 3, all are trustworthy and willing to talk and help you out. I had them install a ATF cooler and inline filter as well which they gladly did. Also asked if they could do my timing, they got it set up and all was done. If I ever have to deal with transmission problems again I will go to them. If you have patience and want a trusting company then go here. If your daily driver's transmission went out and you need it done in a few days to work? Get a new car, it just isnt possible to expect that kind of service from any shop.”
