They had me bring him in right in. The staff IS amazing, and that includes the vet. I felt listened to and there was no attempt to upsell me, which is what I usually experience at the vet. I highly recommend this place. I would give ten stars if that were an option!

Their beer selection is hands down the best in town, and arguably the best within a two-hour radius. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, which always makes the experience even better. I’ve always felt comfortable stopping in alone for a drink or meeting up with friends there. And when the weather is nice, the patio is such a lovely place to relax!

I am rating five stars because the food and atmosphere deserve it and I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying this place because they would missing out. But….
Our server was Greg- maybe he was having a bad day but our experience wasn’t great. At the outset he was friendly but as our order stacked up, his disposition noticeably changed and he discouraged us from ordering additional food despite me explaining we were taking food home. He said that “will be plenty and it will fill you up.” I explained again we were taking food home and he walked away. When he returned, I had to explain that we also wanted to order entrees and, again, noticeable frustration. When he delivered our entrees, he didn’t say anything but placed my plate on the table, pushed the plate toward me and touched it against my right elbow. Unfortunately for me the plate was scorching hot on that side and blistered my elbow. I’m not suggesting he did it on purpose but he certainly didn’t take any care to prevent it from happening either. Someone should talk to Greg.
Our check was $116 but we received enough food for 5 people for that amount- so the value was good.

1901 James River Rd, Huntingtonlove it there, very clean and spacious for dogs and cats, they take really good acre of them and I love the staff, voulenteering is so fun, but one staff was really rude and told us to walk a dog we were walking away from everyone else, cause she wasn't dog friendly, but she wasn't even labeled not dog friendly or a red collar on her kennel door? how would we know? and I haven't even let her near any dog that was there, but that staff person let one of the shelter dogs near her when she went to confront me?? besides that, the place is great.
