606 Main Ave, NitroI don’t have enough to say about how grateful I am that HoH exists! My dog randomly jumped into my car one day and he’s been with me (more or less, after going through every step to locate an owner before adopting) ever since.
I sincerely love my dog (we are best friends) but he is incredibly weird and high maintenance, every single person who has watched him overnight has declined to do so again due to his…. odd behaviors and peculiarities. Which is where daycare/boarding comes in! He has been going to the Nitro location for years and has formed deep and meaningful relationships with the staff and other dogs there. It’s a part of his weekly routine to go to daycare, he actually begs to go in the morning if it’s been too long, and he’s just as happy to come home as he is to go. The enrichment and stimulation he gets by going helps to regulate him and to wear him out lol. I’ve boarded him for planned and unplanned life events, as well as my cats, and I’ve always felt reassured that they would all be getting the attention and care that they deserved. My dog has also been groomed there on several occasions, and I believe is more comfortable knowing after his maintenance that he can go out and play. On the few occasions that he has had a scratch or nausea while at daycare or boarding, I was always promptly notified. They have a plan of action for emergencies and though they’ve never had to use that plan for my dog, I’m positive he is in safe hands given the extent of care everyone has shown.
In regards to the business I have found that the employees are incredibly kind, hardworking, and consistent in their care. It’s easy to get ahold of them if needed and the prices are fair for the services provided. The premises are always clean which is incredibly impressive given the foot and paw traffic rain or shine, and they don’t smell like kennel or dog. It’s truly a home like environment and I would recommend this to anyone who thinks that their dog could benefit from enrichment and socialization. I’ve included pictures of my dog tormenting me the night before going to daycare, and freshly picked up from a day spent with friend. The difference is obvious.

3901 39th St, NitroI still might have a Mexican baby after feasting at Guadalajara Modern Mexican in Quincy, WV. Service was out of this world. The servers are classmates of my son and top-notch! Food was great! I could live on that dip! Definitely check them out! #wvfoodie #fyp #foryoupage #almostheaven
