U-Haul of Fair Field offers truck, van, and equipment rentals along with moving and storage solutions. Staff are described as friendly, professional, and kind, with check-in noted as easy. The location is considered reliable for having a truck available. However, significant criticisms include a rental system that operates on first-come, first-served basis regardless of reservations, and occasional lack of equipment. Some customers report issues with inaccurate fuel tank tracking leading to unexpected charges, and while diagnostic help is offered, repairs may not always be completed on site.
