“Farrukh is an example of what an exemplary employee is. He was the only one working the register, and even though the line was all the way down the aisle, he didn't complain. He had a smile and friendly conversation for everyone. He provided an example for his co-workers, as, prior to getting in line, I saw at least 3 just standing around and talking, ignoring the line of customers. “Just had to take a second to write a review based the interaction I just had with the cashier in this store. I was standing in line and listening to the conversation he had with each customer ahead of me. I was literally smiling the entire time. He is the sweetest person I have ever encountered . I watched as he smiled at each customer and witnessed the most genuine ,wholesome interactions I have ever seen. I don’t know his name as it was not printed on my receipt but he was a young teen with light brown curly hair. To his managers; U HAVE A GEM!!! Thank u for making me smile and never let this world change you!!”
“I went to this Dollar General this morning because the one I go to regularly and is closer to me seems to have consistent issues with opening on time or finding someone to ring up your items...however you can find most of them outside smoking a cigarette and chatting...I think waiting for over 5 minutes is questionable.... so I went to the Dollar General off route 45 on shepherdstown road..... the semi grey haired gentleman was quite personable and we chatted a bit about the book he was currently reading and recommended.... the store was neat and orderly as well....I believe this will be my go to store...”
“I love family dollar they usually have awesome deals and sales on clothes, toys, and household items. I try to stop there anytime I get a chance and with the weekly coupons you can save a lot of money and time with every trip.”

“QUICK UPDATE:
This location is still my go to store I do not know if they are hiring however they should be the amount of customers that come in would warrant having more than 1 cashier.
there are times the line can get long its usually because the other staff is attemtping to put out inventory this store stays fairly busy i have visited on didferent days at different times of the day and there is always a good amount of customers in the store compared to other family dollars in the area this one is fairly clean and organized and adequately stocked the staff is mostly friendly (hey we all have our bad days) this location is my go to store whether i need to do a quick stop or tackle the monthly shopping”
“I stopped coming to this store for a while as it was just stressful to be in but i decided to try again today and it was a different world! Happy to have a decent store near me again that is convenient and friendly”
“My favorite DG in the area. I can almost always find what I came in for, employees are always kind, and prices are pretty good. The employees here just unfortunately have, like most other retail stores, been understaffed, underpaid, and overworked. The corporation itself doesn't seem to appreciate hard work, but just know that your community appreciates you. ?”
“It is a great store if you want to get something quick. It is understaffed, but they do their best to keep the store clean and safe. I personally find it easier to get into compared to other stores of similar sizes. It is far from most other stores which makes it great if you are just passing by and want a quick snack or need something specific.”

“This is a great store over all, but if you need anything from behind the checkout counter, depending on the shift and who's working you could be waiting a good while. They strongly rely on self check out and often have to be found to come help up front.”
