“I frequent DG in Nimitz almost every day, if not more than once a day. The store is immaculate! The employees are always ready to help, greeting customers and stocking/cleaning. There have been a few occasions that some products were not available, but it was because of Coronavirus. I'm very satisfied with this store and I recommend everyone to use it for their purchases; instead of the others in the area.”
“I can remember when the High school was in Town and we got to go off campus for lunch,, Best Cheeseburgers in town, I would race across the street to be sure that I got mine fast enough that I could hang out with friends, would often go to the Library, because we didn't have Internet back then and needed to do research for papers at school. Really miss this little Town, And the memories that it contains.”

“Kroger in Hinton is a lifeline for the community. It's the only "big name" chain supermarket around, possibly in the county (we are a one stoplight town). So in addition to being an important resource it is also a major employer. It's definitely aging in terms of the building but it is well kept up otherwise. I personally have not seen anything horrible (which I have in other places/other supermarkets). The staff is very kind and helpful. This Kroger carries a surprisingly good assortment of "hippie" products, the sort of thing you find at Whole Foods (which don't exist in West Virginia). It has a good assortment of organic and vegetarian items, as well as local niche offerings including milk in glass bottles, and (fairly) local sausage and beef.They also often carry some 'chi-chi' items, especially in the arena of pickles and condiments and sauces; I got the Truff hot sauce there a while back, and today I picked up some pretty fabulous looking pickles.All in all, as Coastal "Elites" we find most of our needs met pretty well by this small town Kroger. Would I like to see it upgraded? Of course! But I think they are doing a good job serving the town.”
“A little pricey but produce was great. They had some tin characters & signs that were very fair. Would make great gifts or just decorations. You should check it out.”

“This is a teeny-tiny little Kroger, but despite the size, it has a great selection of items. It's about 20 minutes from Pipestem resort, so if you're staying there and needing to restock, this is the place to go.”
