Grocery Stores in Salem, WV

“It’s not the IGA that it use to be. Less deals and higher prices. But maybe that’s just everywhere. No staff greet you when you walk in the door like others strive to do. If you need something fast or don’t feel like leaving Salem it’s a good place to shop.”

“Bad and sad news. This store will be closing down for good this month, I'm July. I am somewhat upset this this store is closing, cause this is the only gas station and convenient store in middle of town of Salem with more variety of snacks and drinks. Plus, the BP gasoline is the best gas in town. Now with this station closing down soon, I'm forced to buy gas for the mowers at the other end of town or in another town. I just hope that this place will be up for sale and another company would take over this station. Update. The 7 Eleven corporate was going to shut this gas station and convenience store down, but after complaints from Salem residents and a few employees, the corporate decided to keep this store open. Everyone in Salem is happy to see this store to remain open.”

“I used to live in Salem and truthfully I find many more products that I just can't find in the other dollar general stores. I'm aware that these stores and others like them don't have any say in the merchandise that gets sent to each store but its a well rounded store and has everything you need or at least some item that will do in place of your preferred items. Overall its a nice little store and I usually find everything I need some in fact are items I've been looking for a while.”
