“ALDI is the best, I've been a fan for years! Stress-free shopping for quality groceries at the best prices! Germany does grocery stores well! This almost-new store is the largest ALDI in the greater Huntington metropolitan area, the aisles are super wide! (and alcohol is sold!) The checkout line can get long when it's busy but it moves very quickly.”

“I grew up less than a mile from this store. Paul SR owned it then. This place was a huge part of my childhood. It was the place you went to get penny candy when I was a kid. It was the place you stopped and got your girl a soda on the way to the movies when I was a teen. I joined the army in 84, traveled the world and the states. I tried to visit every chance I got, and often did. A lot of things have change since the early 70's, but not Morrison's. Two generations of really good people, and I hope I get to see a third. Back in the day, Paul treat us like we were his kids. My family wasn't the rich, we were poor as could be. Morrison's would let you run a tab, It saved us a lot of times. Bologna and bread may not rate high in most people's list. But it was a lifesaver to us. Now I am grown, my children are grown, and I live out on a farm in southern Ohio. I still stop in at Morrison's when I can. And sometimes I still see Bill. I wonder if he knows how much his family means to so many of us?”

“This GoMart is a Truck ? Stop. So the restroom's aren't the cleanest in the area, but my husband used to work here and he would clean the bathrooms. He would hard clean the bathrooms, which consisted of sweeping and mopping then taking a large scrub brush on a stick and scrubbing the bathroom floors!!! Honestly he's the only one at that time that even cared about cleaning the bathrooms.... He no longer works there so good luck using the restrooms!!! ?”

“Nice community grocery store. Good selection and prices in line with a community store with no competition. A couple of the checkout clerks seem to need a personality infusion, but the other ones more than compensate for them. Produce was surprisingly fresh for a country store that receives their supplies from another county. All in all, I like shopping there as opposed to the 2 other stores within easy driving distance.”

“I really like Kroger in Barboursville. It's usually stocked well. They have better sushi than most places. Prices are like everywhere else... ridiculously high.”

“Since it is a newer store it is cleaner and nicer however there is little to no internet where the store is located so you can't use the DG Go app or the Dollar General app to check coupons.”

“For an easy to get to grocery access, Food Fair is good enough. It doesn't have the selection that Kroger has but it's 15min closer! Prices are of course higher than Kroger as well.”

“My mother seems to prefer this location over the others so I guess Ill give it a good rating. Its walmart, so you get what you would expect.

I personally do hate the almost 100% self checkout of this facility ... but at least they have switched their conveyors over to self checkout instead of trying to put it all on a small table.”

“Extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been to several Dollar General's in my area, this one is by far the best.”

“The service was great. Food Fair has a lot of different things that other stores don't carry. Every time I go, there's something different. Love this store and its people very much”

“New store manager, new staff, no more clutter. Having problems getting stuff like everyone else. Prices are going up like everything else. But come check us out. Friendly and nice place to shop close to home. ❤”
