βThe older cashier working here is a hoot! Sheβs the reason I continue to go there. Very friendly and treats you like family. βΊοΈ It has most anything you need when you donβt want to go all the way into town. Best dollar store in the area!β
βAwsome!!!! Pizza and the wings will put any other wing place to shame. The employees there are some of the nicest people we could have in our little community here. So glad they are here for all of us.β

FoodFair is the kind of grocery store that reminds me of the stores I grew up with. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their community. The employees are friendly, helpful, and actually take the time to ask if you need assistance finding something. Checkout is always quick and efficient, and I appreciate that they still have baggers and plenty of small carts available. It seems small but makes a difference.
The store is consistently spotless, the parking lot is always clean and well-maintained, and everything feels organized and welcoming. The manager is wonderful, and it showsβeveryone who works there seems happy, engaged, and takes pride in what they do.
They have the best dill dip, and sauces, fried chicken, potato and macaroni salads, and it is made there. Plus they stock Walnut Creek items which are consistently excellent!
Shopping here feels less like a chore and more like visiting a place in the past when shopping felt more personal. In a time when many stores feel impersonal, FoodFair has managed to keep that sense of community alive. Iβm grateful to have a grocery store like this nearby and would recommend it to anyone.β
βALDI is the best, I've been a fan for years! Stress-free shopping for quality groceries at the best prices! Germany does grocery stores well! This almost-new store is the largest ALDI in the greater Huntington metropolitan area, the aisles are super wide! (and alcohol is sold!) The checkout line can get long when it's busy but it moves very quickly.β

βKroger in Barboursville, West Virginia offers a great shopping experience. I always find what I need. I actually shop there 2 to 3 times a week. Friendly staff. Starbucks is there also.β
βIt was service with a smile that you couldn't see, but you really felt it with every little purchase you bought. they helped me find everything that I needed.β
βI would've gave it 5 stars but the customer service desk is never open. I was told it only opens from 4 to 6 by an employee. Not much of a customer service desk.β
βThis GoMart is a Truck ? Stop. So the restroom's aren't the cleanest in the area, but my husband used to work here and he would clean the bathrooms. He would hard clean the bathrooms, which consisted of sweeping and mopping then taking a large scrub brush on a stick and scrubbing the bathroom floors!!! Honestly he's the only one at that time that even cared about cleaning the bathrooms.... He no longer works there so good luck using the restrooms!!! ?β

βVery nice new storeβ¦. Found everything I wantedβ¦. Got to the register and had 8 people in line with only one cashier. After about 5 minutes another employee came up and opened another registerβ¦. Thank goodnessβ¦. Tell the existing cashier to call for another cashier right away when you get backed upβ¦. Fortunately the other employee noticed the back up eventually and saved the day.β

βIt is getting hard to find stores with friendly staff but at least in here I did not feel as though I was irritating the staff by shopping, as I often do find things. This store is pretty well located and easy enough to get in and out of in nearly any traffic conditions. The shelves stay pretty well stocked as compared to others in the area.β
βVery friendly and nice and helpful !! Download the Go Mart App earn points for purchases and tier up for # of visits , I usually get at least 2 fountain drinks free a week and a gal of milk plus discount on cigs and has its own designated spot inside the all for tobacco coupons u can use daily ,hope you enjoy the app and all the free stuff!!!! Don't forget for Christmas to spin the wheel And get extra points free candy bars free drinks etc .β
βWe live in hurricane, wv and my husband's family are all from Lincoln County, Hamlin, west Hamlin. When we go visit we stop by here and grandchildren pop and a pie to take. Very clean and friendly people. Clean bathroom too. Lol only thing is I wished they sold fresh flowers kinda like Walmart does. Ive wanted to take flowers several times ALWAYS forget before we leave so I really wished they had fresh flowers. They have everything else you would need at a decent price.β

βMet with the most prompt and polite employee to access an item for purchase out of a locked location. Had been to Walmart on Rt 60 earlier and that was a joke. There were already 3 people waiting for an employee to access items from a locked area, after I waited for 7 mins and still did not see anyone en route, I left. I will be switching to the doing any WalMart shopping at the Barboursville location.β
