“Love this little gas station. It has some of the best in store made/cooked food. Their pepperoni rolls are delicious, they have a breakfast canzone that is my favorite thing from their that they make in their kitchen. It goes really fast so you have to be early to get one. I also am a fan of their chicken salad and ham salad sandwiches. It's all made and wrapped up so you can grab it and go. A woman by the name Susan is by far my favorite employee. She is always so helpful and friendly, and makes my visit better just by the way she makes sure im taken care of, and she always had a smile on her face.”
“I think the deli is the main attraction at Hickory Grove. They have a menu with a wide selection for you to choose from. They have prepared meals , so if you're in a hurry ..you can order ahead of time as well. They also deliver if you give them notice . They deliver for seniors and disabled people. This place has almost everything that you might need , but some things are pricy compared to stores that are closer in town . I go there for fried chicken , it is yummy . and they have gas , I almost forgot about that ! Thumbs up !”
“It's your typical kroger gas station. Better prices than most gas stations, usually. I wish they had milk out there, so if I need a gallon I don't have to go in the store. I can just grab a gallon while pumping and be on my way”

“Old fashioned neighborhood station. Prices are competitive. Real non-ethanol gas is available here. Downside is lot doesn't have much room for customers waiting to get to pumps. One of the only two bays has 7' height restriction.”

“A couple miles off the interstate. Did not know what to expect but decided to go - fuel prices were great, bathroom really really clean and the store was nice, and laid out / merchandised neatly. noticed a lot of local west virginia plates here. thumbs up.”
“In the Parkersburg/Belpre area, this is my favorite Kroger because I can usually find better produce with more available selections than at the other Krogers. Also, I can find many items related to my Whole Foods Plant Based diet, such as plant based meats, cheeses, butter, etc... I love the authentic sushi kiosk in the deli area and the fresh baked bread. People who work there are friendly and helpful. What I do not love is checkout. Usually, there are only one or two cashier-run registers; the rest are self-checkout, and there is usually a long line at all of them. I have a pleasant experience shopping in the store, but checking out is a pain.”
“We stopped here for gas and the bathrooms. The handicap parking spots were right next to the door. You do have to get a key for the bathrooms.The store and bathrooms were super clean. The staff were really nice.”
“Dan and Linda and the rest of the crew have been fantastic over the years and orders and stocks anything you ask for! They have some of the best wines on the shelf in the whole area since he has always asked for recommendations and then stocks what you ask for. Wines from $6/ bottle up to $46 / bottle including high-end pinot's and chardonnay's I've requested are always on the shelf and has saved me hundreds of trips to vienna over the last 20 years .However, as of last week Parmar bought them out and took over so I guess we will see how it goes in the future! Hoping for the best.”

“A great place to stop for gas, a quick bite and to stretch your legs. The cashier is usually good for a bit of a chat if your driving all night and desperate for some human contact for a change. The bathrooms are clean too, which surprised me considering this is a gas station.”

“It's a good place to buy gas if you shop at Krogers you can use your shopper points to get a discount on fuel, it can be a little hard to get in and out but it's ok”

“I have always loved 7 11. The only issue with this particular store is some of the employees are extremely unfriendly and unpleasant and make you feel like they are either to busy for you or they are annoyed that they have to get off there phone to ring you up. One lady is very paranoid and thinks everyone is shoplifting. And will yell things like " don't think I don't know what your trying to do" and more then once has left me personally standing at the register in the middle of ringing me up to go follow other customers around the store to make sure they wasn't stealing all the while leaving the counter unattended.”

“I like to stop in for fountain beverages at Speedway. $1 for Big Gulps. Always good tasting.
It's a popular store right on the corner of 7th Street and Liberty. Often there's a line at both registers. So plan on a few extra minutes, especially during rush hour, to get your gas, snacks and drinks. Convenient to get in and out of the gas station, but limited parking. It's a good stop.”

“My Family and I traveled to Myrtle Beach SC for a vacation. 9 hours into our 11 hour drive back home we had to stop for gas. After trying to get gas from 3 other gas stations, finally we found one with the inside of the store being open. As usual we pre pay and pump our gas. As we changed diapers and gathered our bearings for the rest of the ride home, our vehicle died. The starter went bad out of no where and we were stuck with a 6yo, 2yo, and 7mo old at 3am.. Talk about str”

“This Par Mar has been around for decades. The property is a little awkward to get into because of the traffic situation and being a major four way stop, but the store itself is great. It's small but the staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the products they have, and the pricing. They have a lot of random items that you can't find elsewhere in the area (like snacks) so if you're around Rosemar Circle this is a great place to stop in!”

“They have gas. As a gas station, they also have a fine assortment of Gas station food and drinks. I would highly recommend the sweet tea, I just like sweet tea. This little shop is also referred to by locals as Powell’s. Powell’s was the previous name of this establishment but they were recently bought out by this other company. Its still gas bro. Very useful and close to my neighborhood. Great for when you completely forget to fill up your tank before school or work”
