“Odd to make a review of a grocery store on grocery pick up alone but I had to commend the ease of grocery pick up and friendliness of the staff. Yes I drove to another state only 18 miles away Mind you but that's a bit farther than my local Walmart which is about 3-4 miles. Reason one I tried another location is I could make an order for pick up the next day, whereas my Walmart which is Robinson township had its soonest pick up for 6 days away, and not only is that a convenient but when you go to pick up you usually have to wait an extended period of time. I understand t gets busy and not one persons fault, I just find that as an inconvenience. The Weirton location is easy to access off 22/30, the parking lot is large and the pick up area is on the far end of the building where it's less congested. Yes I'm doing the is review off of one visit and one employee but that's what it takes to bring customers back and gain loyalty. I will update this review on my next visit.”
“As it is often the only store for certain things downtown Weirton, sometimes you have to stop in but the last year or so it has always been understaffed and low inventory on items. The workers that are there always seem to be doing their best but you can tell they need more employees. Not their fault.”
“Great customer service from the manager of the meat dept, Mike! He always has a good attitude and smile and always is willing to do whatever he can to help, whether it's cutting something or just giving advice. Very impressed and hope he stays! Much better dept than under the previous manager.”

“I had the pleasure of shopping the Dollar General on Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton, West Virginia this morning and had a delightful experience. April was working today; she was the only employee in the store. April assisted me several times helping me find items on my list. She was cheerful, knowledgeable, and knew the store well. I applaud April for her professional mannerism during my visit, excusing herself while checking for people up front and returning to assist me. She is a wonderful employee and an asset to the company. Thank you, April, for a great shopping experience today. :)”
“I visited the Three Springs Drive Dollar General location today in Weirton, West Virginia and had a most wonderful experience. After a simple excursion through the store finding my items to purchase, the cashier, Patty, pleasantly greeted me with a lovely smile and eye contact. She asked how my day was going and immediately made me feel right at home. Patty efficiently took care of my transaction and made sure all of my discounts and coupons worked. I appreciated the way that Patty made the extra effort to provide excellent customer service that most businesses lack these days. Thank you for having such a kind, considerate person in your employ. I would highly recommend this Dollar General to family, friends, and colleagues.”
