“This is a great conference space but most of the events I attend don’t use it. They book long contracts downtown at the Baird Center. I mention why not this location and the constant complaint is size and power constraints. I don’t plan events so I don’t see if these concerns are valid. As an attendee I’d be more interested in events held here.”

“As a caterer who has used this venue’s kitchen for five events, I can confidently say the space is well-designed and highly functional. The kitchen is spacious, and approximately 85% of the appliances/equipments are in good working condition. You will have access to nearly everything you need to operate as if you were in a full commercial kitchen, making it easy to meet the needs of your clients.

I would recommend this venue to fellow caterers; however, it is important to note that the condition of the kitchen can vary depending on the previous renter. Unfortunately, not all renters understand the importance of proper equipment care and sanitation. Be prepared to do some cleaning beyond your normal routine when you arrive.

Overall, this is a strong venue choice for caterers, with excellent potential, just expect a little variability based on how well the last renters maintained the space. -Chef Shane, MBA”

“WDHS SUMMER PICNIC. Late arrival to a scenic and peaceful setting. Classmates had charge of the hall and food. Food was tasty but I was a few hours late. Nevertheless, we felliwshipped together and enjoyed the moment. Everything you would want to have for your convenience was available including corn holes. Good to see the goodness of God through His mercy in permitting the thirty plus Classmates come together. Looking forward to the next get together and preferably at the same place.”

“I came here for the Divine Consign convention and was impressed with the setup. I usually hate going to big events like this because of the parking but there was ample space and I had no trouble finding a spot right up front. The space was very clean and the event itself was run very smoothly.COVID Precautions: There was signage signify that it was a mask zone and all event employees and guests for the most part were abiding by it.”

“Love this place! My mom and I went here last Saturday and had the best time. Great service, yummy drinks, & an all around memorable experience. I loveeeee the old time feel this place gives. I can appreciate the older technology as it has a nostalgic feel to it. If you’re not feeling bowing the bar is super comfy and cozy to just go there for a drink. The lanes were well maintained & clean. The staff was also kind enough to stay open a little longer for us to finish up our game and did not rush us once. We will be back!”

“We recently hosted my niece's baby shower at The Confetti Lounge, and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The space itself is absolutely perfect for an intimate celebration like a baby shower. The layout worked beautifully for seating all of our guests comfortably while still leaving plenty of room for gifts, games, and a food setup. Kristin was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with from the initial booking all the way through to the event itself. If you are looking for a fantastic, stress-free venue to host a small gathering or shower, I highly recommend The Confetti Lounge. We will definitely be keeping them in mind for future family celebrations!”

“This was my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, I had a nice experience. The hotel itself was nice, and I especially liked the interior and design of the rooms. I also really appreciated the location, as it was close to many stores and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.

The staff were decent and provided the expected level of service you would typically receive at a hotel. One thing that was disappointing, however, was the confusion surrounding the breakfast. I was initially told that breakfast was included, but when I went to get it, I was charged around $15. I didn’t see any sign indicating that breakfast had an additional cost. The following day, I noticed that a sign had been put up explaining the breakfast pricing. I think it would have been helpful to have the sign displayed consistently so guests know the cost ahead of time rather than finding out when they go to get breakfast.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was busy with many guests, and I noticed there was also a special events space where weddings and other events are held, which was a nice feature. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-located hotel, and I would consider staying here again.”
