My French bulldog, Goku, developed a massive growth on his paw that became very concerning. When I called Star Vet, they were able to get him in the very same day to have it evaluated. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, compassionate, and genuinely concerned about Goku.
When we learned that he would need emergency surgery, the vet tech, Bree, went above and beyond by referring me to Friends of MADACC, an incredible organization that was able to help us cover the cost of his surgery. I cannot put into words how much that meant to our family. Having a pet need unexpected emergency care is stressful enough, and their willingness to not only care for Goku but also connect us with resources to make his surgery possible meant more than they will ever know.
I am beyond grateful for how quickly Star Vet helped us, the kindness and compassion their entire staff showed, and the care they provided to our sweet Goku. ❤

“Kelly and the front desk team here are simply the best. I have two senior animals, a dog and a cat, who are sadly starting to have some age-related medical issues after many very healthy years. I know veterinary clinics are always busy, but Kelly and the team never rush me or make me feel like an inconvenience, as other clinics sometimes have in the past.
My dog is currently having some dental problems and is considered higher-risk for anesthesia, so Dr. Steve referred me to a specialty veterinary dentist. The specialist later requested photos, which I tried my best but getting clear pictures of those molars way in the back isn’t easy, especially when your pup is in pain. :( I called SFAH to see if they could help, and thankfully they had a vet tech, Jen, available to help me get good photos to send to the specialist.
Jen is WONDERFUL, so compassionate, gentle and patient. I’m incredibly grateful that she took the time to help me get the photos we needed and made a stressful situation easier.
This clinic has excellent doctors as well, but it’s the support staff, techs and front desk team who truly make SFAH stand out from every other veterinary clinic I’ve experienced throughout 20+ years of being a pet mom. The kindness and care they show both animals and their people really makes a difference.”

“Dr. Sherer is fantastic! I highly recommend them. Cat care in general is not cheap, so don’t go in expecting to spend $100 one time and never worry about your cat again. Dr. Sherer went above and beyond to inform me everything about my cat’s teeth extraction and cleaning. They called in advance for optional procedures and outlined every step of the process. I’m very grateful for their expertise and they are well worth the money.”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about truly everything regarding Community Vet Clinic. I've been taking my cat Maru there for just about 7 years and can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Everyone from the reception desk, the vet techs, and to the veterinarians themselves are incredibly warm and passionate about what they do and providing the best care to your pets.
In addition to the standard check-ups for our cat Maru with Dr. Flynn who is incredible, we've also been on a journey with the team at Community Vet when we took Maru in to examine a lump on her belly and after getting the lump tested, found out that it was cancer.
Community Vet and especially Dr. Swartz, who has been our primary vet during Maru's cancer journey have been nothing short of outstanding. There's nothing good about cancer, it's truly horrific, but I couldn't imagine navigating all of this without Dr. Swartz and the rest of the folks at Community Vet.
Maru's battle against cancer is still ongoing and how we've been embraced by everyone and shown such a deep level of care and empathy have made us lifelong fans and patrons of Community Vet. Whether you take your pets in just for a routine exam or something more serious, you'll be in amazing hands.

“My baby coffee was in extreme pain because of his declining dental issues and had developed a lymph node unbeknownst to me, called the vet exactly at 8AM when they opened. They were very kind and understanding over the phone and answered all my follow-up questions and got me appointment for the very next hour, SAME DAY, he was diagnosed and sent home with meds to help the same day as well, they even offered free nail trimming, I absolutely love how they talked to me about pricing and made sure I paid the lowest cost possible but still got my pet the best care, they are very kind, professional and compassionate even though my pet was aggressive (likely from being in pain) and he even relaxed after awhile, I’m beyond grateful for having such a great experience here.”
