“I experienced my first accident earlier this year when I was rear-ended. My vehicle was still drivable, so I put off the repairs because the process of getting it fixed was intimidating. I had the estimate done here because it was recommended by USAA, which was the insurance covering the repair.
I finally took my vehicle (GMC Terrain) in for repairs earlier this week and they made the process easy, especially with insurance covering a rental from Enterprise across the street. Caliber communicated with Enterprise when I arrived to have someone come pick me up and get the rental car.
The original plan was to repair the lift gate panel, but when they pulled it off, they discovered that there was unseen damage. Dave gave me a call right away and was very kind in explaining the situation. He also immediately communicated with the insurance company to have them approve a new lift gate instead of the repair. Before I was even able to update family on the potential for more expenses, Dave was calling me back saying insurance had approved it. I'm so glad that he was thorough & wanted the best outcome for the repairing my vehicle.
The repair was supposed to take 2 weeks initially, and I just picked up my vehicle this evening--a full week early! I believe this is partially because of the replacement of the lift gate instead of repairing it, but I am still super happy about it.
I received updates via text every day, which I really appreciated! The entire staff that I interacted with was very responsive & kind: Dave, Kim & Sutthi. When I picked up the car, I didn't even need to return the rental myself, I handed over the keys to Kim & she said they would take care of the rest.
Caliber on Odana Rd made this process as simple as it could be after I was in an accident, thank you! You'd never know that anything happened with my vehicle after the repairs were done!

My lift gate started acting like it was being blocked by something, but it was not. I let Caliber know via email with photos/video of the issue and they responded w/in an hour. They asked that I bring the vehicle in for a tech to look at, which I did an hour or so later. They were able to fix it right there (some bolts had become loose). Great service to be taken care of so promptly!”

“Overall, Sparkle Auto Body is a no-muss, no-fuss kind of place that did the work very well for the right price.
My damage was purely cosmetic, but the scratches were deep, extensive and hit multiple panels alongside a huge dent in the car door. Sparkle was highly recommended by people around me and my insurance company. They worked very well and efficiently with my insurance company- one estimate was all that was needed and was accepted immediately. Even with insurance paying for most of it, the price seemed appropriate for the amount of work and parts.
I was able to get an idea of a time/cost estimate by driving right up, no appointment needed. We looked at the car outside together for about 10 minutes, and the manager was able to give me a good idea of what the time/price estimate would be. I had to schedule an appointment further out, but that just reflects how popular they are - for good reason.
The work itself was completed ahead of time. The work was limited to what actually needed fixing, not taking the entire car apart like some places do just to fix a surface scratch. They even took care of some other odds and ends scratches on my car besides the main damage, which was hugely appreciated. They had creative problem solving. When one of my car parts was no longer sold, they found a similar part in another color and just spray painted it to flawlessly match.
They also did a great job cleaning and detailing the car before I picked it up. Checkout was extremely fast and efficient, too. Everyone I spoke to was polite and to the point- that good ol' no-muss, no-fuss I mentioned.

“Good communication from start to finish. Good quality work. Took 7 business days to repair gouge in left gate and some minor bumper damage. Might seem like should go fast but modern cars are complex with backup cameras, rear wipers, electronic lift controls etc in the rear. That plus LOTS of vehicles in repair queue these days so this is minimum of what anyone should plan for with a reputable body shop. They also took care of returning my rental car for me to Enterprise down the street.”

“OKAY. So, I bought a used car. Nice car, underbody looks good, etc. Drive it back to Madison. Get pulled over by Maple Bluff police for having no taillights. WHAT?? Yeah. Silly me, I assumed I would have working taillights when I bought the car. I drove out to AutoZone on my 30 minute (!) break bc I have to drive to work tomorrow (and every day this week and forever) and need working lights. The young man there took my stressed out-ness in stride; looked up some fuses. He replaced them for me while I did the self-checkout... and it worked. I managed to get my lights fixed by this amazing AutoZone guy in TEN MINUTES. I just made it back in time to clock back in and now I can drive across the city tomorrow without getting a citation.
