“As a college student, the only thing I didn't like about coming home for the summer was leaving a state-of-the-art campus gym. Since starting a summer membership at Form & Fitness, however, I have been blown away by the staff's support and helpfulness (especially trainers Aneka, Mike, & Jeremiah). Coming from a gym attended by tens of thousands of students, I appreciate how close-knit and judgement-free the F&F community is, as this definitely eases my gym anxiety. Personally, walking into the gym every day and seeing the same people there gives me a sense of much-needed comfort when physically pushing myself outside of my comfort zones. From a more materialistic standpoint, the bathrooms, locker rooms, and equipment are always clean. I've always been able to find an open squat rack, bench, cable, etc. I couldn't recommend this gym enough (currently in the process of convincing my brother to come here!).”

“I have been going to training with Tom for 11 years! He has gotten me through a torn rotator cuff, two knee replacements and a broken wrist. This was very personalized and modified for me to be safe and ease me back into my regular workouts. I also used the professional physical therapy area of form and fitness for my first knee rehabilitation. Everyone working there is professional and fun and Tom is of course a huge reason I’m as strong as I am at 64.”

“I visited South Beach on a daytrip to Port Washington on a weekday in October. The weather was great for a nice walk on the beach; the winds were not kicking up the water too high. I enjoyed a leisurely walk looking at the waves on Lake Michigan, the rocks and driftwood on the beach, and the bluffs. The parking lot for the beach is small, and it should be expected that it would be full on weekend day. But, one could park in the nearby Coal Dock Park and take a short walk to South Beach. It is a great spot for a picnic.”

“Pure Fitness is an incredible personal training gym. If you want dedicated personal trainers who care about your progress and tailor a program to your needs, you’ve found it. Their trainers can get you to your goals because they have so much varying experience, from power lifting, to elite high school and college sports, to Ironman finishers, to golf pros…. They’re all experienced athletes who will push you to excel. The new facility has great equipment and is clean and fresh. 10/10 recommend.”

“Training with Karl has changed my life! Last year I was so sick and weak. Saw so many doctors/specialists, no answers. Started physical therapy and training about 3 months ago and my life has flipped from not being able to do much of anything to lifting weights i never imagined I could! The whole experience has been so empowering! If you are feeling slow, weak, sluggish, or justbin a bad place in your life mentally or physically, get up and see them, train with them! Karl changed my life for the better. He is always positive and supportive! Best decision I have made in a very long time! Doesn't matter how old you are, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Update: almost 6 months in and I have achieved things I never imagined doing! I have always been active and athletic but I never thought I could have abs or little muscles. I have exceeded any expectations I had going in. Honesty, a good friend referred and thstvwad one of the best things he could have ever given me! My body age is now 15 years younger than my actual age! I have energy that I thought was gone with my youth! With the training, I know I will show up because I have an appointment. It helps a ton knowing you are on someone else's time and schedule. I don't feel the laziness of not wanting to go. I WANT to go! It has helped with my overall mental health as well. I'm much happier, so much healthierband i can actually move without hurting myself! They don't just train you and send you on your way. They do a body assessment every few months or so with actual printable results. They give advice for healthy eating, lifestyle changes, if you are interested in natural medicine, I am, they suggest supplements that may help, research first and talk with your doctor if you have medical issues and are taking prescription medication! I have great rapport with all of of the trainers there. My schedule is a bit crazy so if I have to change my appointment and Karl is booked, he will ask me if it is OK to train with one of his other amazing people. I adore them all! They push me but know my limits. Encourage me to finish my reps, fix my form and show me again and again, very patient (I'm a bit uncoordinated but I get their eventually)and motivate me to make and achieve goals I decided to make pn my own. I'm not trying to be a body builder, just my best and healthiest self! Thanks to Karl and his team,(Karl's amazing leadership), I have made a huge change in less than 6 months. I will continue to do this as long as they will have me! Having someone motivate you is so important, especially if you have trouble getting to the gym, getting there is the hardest part, once your there, game on! It's your money, their time and your time. I get urges now to want to work out. It releases all my anger and stress from work/life. I also get suggestions for exercises I can do at home. If you want to change your body, health and or life, start here!!!”

“The staff at the Port Washington Anytime Fitness facility are high quality individuals. Carter, Chase, Sam, and Brandon all go above and beyond to create a great experience for the members of this gym.To be honest, if you are just looking for a quiet local gym that has standard equipment so you can come in, do your workouts, and leave without being bothered--this is your kind of gym.However, by not interacting with the staff, you're missing out on the main reason why this is a 5 star gym. The staff will encourage, challenge, and hold you accountable to reach your goals if you give them an opportunity. I've been so impressed by their dedication to the members of this gym. I plan on this being my home gym as long as the Port Washington management keeps bringing in high quality staff like they currently do.”
