“This is such a great bookstore! It is a small boutique shop but the selection is great! Unique children and young adult books focusing on Black, Indigenous, People of Color. Quote from the website says a lot. "It is critical that urban youth both see themselves in the pages of books and read varied narratives of what it means to be a black, or brown protagonist."”
“It's always a delight to visit this Barnes & Noble. The selection is great, and I love the membership/rewards program! It's a great deal and gives you access to incredible sales/rewards. I've attended a few of their events as well, and they've always been so much fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgable as well!”
“Admittedly I only go to HPB for the used CDs which I still enjoy collecting. My guess is that at least 20% of my collection has come from there. Occasionally I find some real gems and I really enjoy picking through the discount CDs from time to time.”

“Absolutely positively obsessed with this gem of a book store! There are cats roaming around, as if that's not enough, they have a unique and broad selection of books! I bought an original copy of the wizard of oz and the woman working was so sweet and helpful she called the owner to ask about advice for restoring the pages for me. They also have artwork! I can't wait to come back I wish I could've spent all day here”

“My husband is a Lutheran pastor and was in need of a new alb. Patty was a great host. She listened to his needs/wants and helped us make the right purchase. Nothing would fit him off the rack so she took his measurements and in a week and a half a new alb custom-suited for him arrived. It looks great and he wears it well!”

“A wonderful surprise. The shelves are well curated with a nice selection of literary fiction. Whereas most mall bookstores traditionally sell generic bestsellers, this is a genuine used bookstore with a deep selection. I often go to this mall just for this bookstore. They have another location at Mitchell Airport that is even larger.”
