“Great experience. I have had repairs/oil changes with at least 8 other shops (not including this one) over the years - this is the best I have had so far. I came in for a routine oil change, and a repair was recommended. Though they usually book a week or so out, they thankfully had an opening the next day, which I took. I wasn't sure if I would leave my car that night or drop it off in the morning. They allowed me to leave that day, without paying for the oil change (trusting I would bring my car back the next day) and performed the repair the next day quickly and at a slightly lower cost than estimated. I would recommend this business.”

“I traveled to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving and my car was making some strange noises while I was driving. I needed to have it checked out before traveling back to NY. I contacted Great Lakes Sales and Service Center and they were able to get me in and found a significant issue and got it fixed in a day!! I would not have been or felt safe to drive back home. “I was traveling from out of town when my auto kept stalling while driving. I just happened to pull into the Shell station and saw Max Auto at 5pm on a Thursday. I stopped in to ask if they could help and explained that I was out of town traveling with my 4 kids. They stopped what they were doing and checked under the hood to find the alternator had gone bad. These amazing guys worked to help me in every way! They were honest and did not take advantage of the situation. Two of the guys replaced the alternator in under two hours and had me back on my way home . I cannot thank them enough! Go there!!!!”

“I stopped by, no appointment, with my daughters car. There was a slow leak and needed to have it repaired prior to driving back to school the next day.
The two people I interacted with were poliet and very accomodating. They took a look, and told me they could sneak me in if I came back around 1:00 PM. I arrived at one and they had me out by 1:45.
They did not try to sell me various add on's and said the tires, although wearing would be good for now. I asked for a rotation and they even suggested keeping the tires where they were for now and rotate at the next oil change.
Great service, no hard upsell, and did what they said they would do. I'll be back when I need to replace the tires next spring.”

“I am a big Costco fan, and the first reason is the workers are great. It's what happens when the CEO makes less and the front line workers make what they are worth. Second, the prices are great. Third, there are more human cashiers than self check out. Third, it's a great place for lunch. There aren't many negatives, but since they concentrate on bulk deals you can't get a small portion of anything and the best deals are ephemeral. They had an amazing low price on cases of 5oz name brand cat food cans and I could only fit 5 in my Fiat 500 and even that hurt my back. But still, I wanted to get some more but they were gone within a week. The other negative is more serious, there are crowds of people shopping at any Costco and this one is busier than others. Some of those people are obnoxious. Really intolerable. What are you going to do?”
