“Great little gas station/ convenience store. 4 gas pumps. Has ice, ATM, all the snacks and beverages you need. Restrooms are are clean. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Great little gas station.”

“Unlike the only other review, which is from six years ago, I had no issues here. Filled up around 8:30a on the way out of town. It was quiet but nothing seemed amiss.”
“I like Murphy's gas stations and this is a convenient location in the Walmart parking lot in Galena. You can sign up for Murphy's Rewards to get savings on fuel and it is easy to enter your phone number at any Murphy's to accumulate reward points. This location is smaller but has snacks, drinks, etc. and has a bathroom.”
“Came for the fish samis early morning cause it's one of our faves and it's on sale every Friday. Today is a great morning to stop by, you've got the lovely ever so sweet Marge and Tayna and Velma. The foods good and the service is friendly. During this shift, it's good there. Wish there was a way to know when the good crew was working.”
“I came here on 01/19/2026. Around 1:30pm I met the shift manager, who was a very lovely, helpful and courteous lady. I’ve never had gas station pizza, but She encouraged me to try it, so I came back in (9:30-10pm?) where a young man from Mississippi made the best pizza I ever had. And as a Chicagoan who grew up in New York, I’ve had some good pizza! I just want to thank these two wonderful employees for a great experience!”

“We have been taking our vehicles to Symons’s since we moved here in 2020. He is honest, fair, and friendly. He is the hardest working man and the best mechanic I’ve ever had. As a woman, I always hated taking my vehicles into other places because I felt unheard about my concerns or pushed into upgrades I didn’t need. I trust Steve more than any dealership. He is great at explaining what he is doing, and why he is doing it. He knows his shops limits and if there is something he isn’t able to do he will let you know and point you in the direction of who can (and yes, sometimes that means having to go to the dealership). I can’t thank Steve enough for everything he has done for us!”
