“U-Haul Moving & Storage of La Crosse came through for me big time. The manager, Gage, may be the most competent U-Haul manager on the planet. I showed up with an unusual problem and he went straight into problem-solving mode. And he solved my problem. His assistant (I've forgotten his name) was very helpful too and provided water for my dog.

I rented a 5 x 8 trailer in Philadelphia for my cross-country move. When I arrived at my mom's house in Wisconsin, she noticed that one of the trailer's running lights was out. I stopped at U-Haul Moving and Storage of La Crosse on my way out of town to see if they could do anything about the tail light. I made it clear that I really, really didn't want to unpack the trailer and load a new one, so Gage grabbed his tools and got to work. He drilled out the rivets holding the tail light on and discovered that the wiring was totally rotted. A little more poking and prodding and he discovered that the tail light had been wired wrong too--meaning that I had driven 900 miles with my tail light out. Because some old wiring had been left in the trailer when the light got rewired the first time, it was hard to tell which wires were the right ones. Gage drilled out the other light to see how it was wired, got the bad one rewired and riveted both lights back on. Problem solved. My trip took about 40 hours of driving. Thanks to the guys at U-Haul Moving and Storage of La Crosse, what could have been a multi-hour ordeal only set me back one hour.

This was an example of someone going way, way above and beyond what was strictly required. The U-Haul guys could have just called roadside assistance and let them deal with it, but instead they went into action and just solved my problem. They should both get a raise.”

“Place is pretty amazing and has everything that you need for your move-in conveniences. The workers are very nice and gentle and they're always ready to help you whatever you need from them. Parking lot has about 10 parking lot for the cars just in case you need to pick up your trailer or whatever. The bathrooms are very clean and well taken a care of.”
