“I have been here before, but not for many years. Their prices are all over the place some items highly priced for expired or near expired items that you would find cheaper at any grocery store. Some items were less expensive and worth picking up or at least to try if you have never seen it in a grocery store. Hit or miss. But definitely a stop if you are in the area.”

“I love this store! The staff is so helpful. It's a very clean and well stocked store, also the staff at the butcher dept can help you with unique meat cuts. I order all my birthday/celebration cakes from their bakery. I have never had a dry cake, and I love to order the marble split layer strawberry or cherry filled with whipped topping for the frosting.
Unfortunately this as well as all stores are experiencing increased prices however, their weekly sales and website coupons do give you a break from the high costs. Give this store a try and I'm sure if you live close by, you'll make it your go to grocery store.”
“Store SOMETIMES clutter the isles BUT that is all new merchandise for the people. Love Mauston General Dollar because the staff people are really great, polite,helpful. They try to remind you of things if they see like you are having a birthday party or cookout. They know where things are located so you don't waste time trying to find it yourself. Fresh fruit is delicious. Please don't ever cut people down or get angry if new employees are learning. They don't get mad if someone has to use two cards to pay.”
