“I noticed that an incoming package from out of the country had been marked to return to sender, I called the office and they were very pleasant and incredibly helpful in locating and rerouting the package to the correct location.
(The error was the sender's fault for combining 2 addresses, not the Post Office)”

There was no long line, and even though there was only one staff member available, he was extremely helpful and efficient. I want to share this to make sure people aren't confused by the bad reviews. “Stopped in on a Wednesday at 1:25 was out the door at 1:30. A simple in person address change was efficient and pleasant. The clerk assisted with everything I needed, was polite, courteous and told me not to rush as I was typing frantically to pull up the proper information. Fabulous service.”

“I don't know if this happened at the McFarland or Madison post office but my grand daughter, age 4 , addressed an envelope all by herself and her dad put a stamp on it. It was totally unreadable. Someone at the post office did some careful investigating and it arrived today. It had no names on it and the address was impossible to read . The picture inside was a drawing of me and Grampy. It was the sweetest thing and we are so happy that it was deciferred. Thank you to whoever did it .”
