“I’ve been going here for a few years since I moved for college. It’s hard trying to find a good shop out here at all, but especially hard as a young person who doesn’t know anything about cars. If that sounds like you then I would definitely recommend this place. My car is always in and out within 24 hours and they do a great job of explaining in simple terms. They’ve never tried to squeeze me for cash and tell me what is urgent to fix and what can wait. There’s women that work there as well which is a big selling point for me. The one time out of many that I still had something wrong after they worked on my car, they were very easy to talk to and fixed it right away at no cost. A lot of shops would probably tell you tough luck and charge you again but not here. I got in that day and I was only there for about 45 minutes. “I went in because I saw a screw in my tire and low tire pressure light was on. Jason took my car in immediately upon arrival. Removed the tire in question, removed the screw and ran it through the dunk test. He immediately determined the screw didn't go all the way through. He reinstalled the tire, properly inflated all 4 tires and had me on my way in 15 minutes and didn't even charge me for his time. That's an honest mechanic and will recommend these people highly.”

“Great while I was there. Three reps told me I needed new tires and agreed with then. Asked them to give me an estimate price on new tires No one ever called me. I even called service to follow up still no one followed up with me. Therefore I still received no estimate.”

“These guys are the best with domestic and most import vehicles. Being a weekend warrior myself, I rarely take my car to a shop. This is saying a lot that I would trust them to do work on my car. The pricing is fair and actually came in just under the estimate for the differential and ring and pinion gear on my Durrango. I highly recommend the Curros to anyone needing work done. They're a family owned and run business, and care about their customers and quality of their work.”

“Dave will support you with the used cars he sells and be totally honest in helping you out afterwards with any issues. He recently repaired a small exhaust leak that developed in the Subaru Legacy I purchased from Manyo Motors on July 8, 2022 (just over two months ago). He did not charge me for this repair, even though the onus is on ME for having purchased an older car at a point in its mileage history and where these things happen. This is MY fault and NOT his responsibility to repair it for free. I should have known these things would happen soon, given the age and mileage of this Subaru Legacy sedan.. Also, one week after I had purchased it, the electronic parking brake warning light/brake failure light came on, and his shop diagnosed that problem for free, even though this problem was the result of the previous owners use/misuse of the parking brake. Manyo Motors checked the car out thoroughly before they put it up for sale, but they never actually used the parking brake, as it is an automatic car and does not really need the parking brake. I was not charged for this diagnosis and was wisely advised to NOT repair the electronic parking brake, as the repair is far too expensive on a used car for something not really posing a danger if I do NOT use it (the parking brake). Again, if you buy a used car, this is the place to go. Julie”

“I was visiting friends over the weekend and my SUV started acting up on a Friday night. I live around 3 hours away so I desperately needed to find a shop open on a Saturday that could complete the job. Lucky for me Tran's Auto was open, close by and they were able to complete the job prior to closing. They even went the extra mile to stay open a few minutes longer when I realized my wife had ordered a Lyft to the other Tran's location, which is about 15 minutes away and we wouldn't have arrived by the time they closed otherwise. I would recommend this shop to anyone because they went the extra mile to get me back on the road so I wasn't stuck renting a vehicle and returning during the week to pick up my SUV. 5 stars all day”

“This is a small, mom and pop auto shop. I've never actually had my car worked on here, but I would, if the need called for it. I've been here three times now for an emissions test. A few years back, you used to have to go to a Department of Transportation emissions test facility and wait in line for up to 90 minutes to get your car's emissions tested. Nowadays, there's lots of auto shops, all over the city, that provide this service, free of charge. Larry's is one such place. It's super convenient for me because I only live two blocks away. You can simply drive into the lot, walk inside, and you're usually greeted by Larry, himself. If you come for an emissions test, they'll ask you for your paperwork and you can take a seat. In the waiting lounge, they've got plenty of magazines to read, music playing: today was the oldies station, there's a soda machine and a vending machine with candy and snacks. I grabbed a Cosmopolitan magazine and browsed through an article. Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish reading that article because they came in, called my name and I was done already. You're in and out in five minutes! Sweet! They offer all your usual auto services, like: oil changes, brakes, tires, tune-ups, etc., with ASE Certified technicians. They work on all makes and models of cars and light trucks, and they take pride in their work.”

“I stopped in for a top off they completed that for me so I went on my way. A few minutes later I got a call from Mark at Take 5 asking me to please return immediately. When I got back Mark told me that I had a severe leak. Checked the oil, not that. Checked the transmission fluid and it was so close to being empty, it was scary. He advised to seek immediate attention by a mechanic, which I did and had Hometown Car Care replace both of the hoses. Mark saved me from having to possibly get a total transmission replacement. I would refer anyone asking to go to Take 5 oil change. Mark went above and beyond. Thank you sincerely Mark.”

“This review is well overdue, but better late than ever...I went in for an oil change a couple months ago, everything went smoothly as normal. But after a day or so, I noticed my engine was leaking oil. I took my car back, and the manager, Arelee, made sure we were able to find the root cause of the issue(the cap wasn't screwed on correctly, honest mistake). However, they made sure that the issue was resolved before I drove off again. I highly recommend this location, they did a fantastic job. 10/10”
