“This is a trustworthy and a honest "Mom & Pop" auto repair facility. A very competent one (ASE certified) that will NOT rip you off like the dealerships will. They've been very fair to me. When I've asked, they've always spelled out what will be completed per the manufacturer's standards. I've been coming here for several years. Randy and his wife Sarah own and run it. I've taken my BMW's here. They fall out of the manufacturer's maintenance programs based on usually the 3 yrs./36K mi. State of The Art Import has performed the CBS (condition based services - as indicated in the vehicle). The caution or amber lights are then reset afterwards to return to it's normal origin and completion status. You can also drop off and park your vehicle off the night before. Right across on State St. designated businesses customer parking. You can use the safe mail door's drop box with your information and the vehicle's key. Highly recommended”

“Dave will support you with the used cars he sells and be totally honest in helping you out afterwards with any issues. He recently repaired a small exhaust leak that developed in the Subaru Legacy I purchased from Manyo Motors on July 8, 2022 (just over two months ago). He did not charge me for this repair, even though the onus is on ME for having purchased an older car at a point in its mileage history and where these things happen. This is MY fault and NOT his responsibility to repair it for free. I should have known these things would happen soon, given the age and mileage of this Subaru Legacy sedan.. Also, one week after I had purchased it, the electronic parking brake warning light/brake failure light came on, and his shop diagnosed that problem for free, even though this problem was the result of the previous owners use/misuse of the parking brake. Manyo Motors checked the car out thoroughly before they put it up for sale, but they never actually used the parking brake, as it is an automatic car and does not really need the parking brake. I was not charged for this diagnosis and was wisely advised to NOT repair the electronic parking brake, as the repair is far too expensive on a used car for something not really posing a danger if I do NOT use it (the parking brake). Again, if you buy a used car, this is the place to go. Julie”

“This is a small, mom and pop auto shop. I've never actually had my car worked on here, but I would, if the need called for it. I've been here three times now for an emissions test. A few years back, you used to have to go to a Department of Transportation emissions test facility and wait in line for up to 90 minutes to get your car's emissions tested. Nowadays, there's lots of auto shops, all over the city, that provide this service, free of charge. Larry's is one such place. It's super convenient for me because I only live two blocks away. You can simply drive into the lot, walk inside, and you're usually greeted by Larry, himself. If you come for an emissions test, they'll ask you for your paperwork and you can take a seat. In the waiting lounge, they've got plenty of magazines to read, music playing: today was the oldies station, there's a soda machine and a vending machine with candy and snacks. I grabbed a Cosmopolitan magazine and browsed through an article. Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish reading that article because they came in, called my name and I was done already. You're in and out in five minutes! Sweet! They offer all your usual auto services, like: oil changes, brakes, tires, tune-ups, etc., with ASE Certified technicians. They work on all makes and models of cars and light trucks, and they take pride in their work.”

“I was visiting friends over the weekend and my SUV started acting up on a Friday night. I live around 3 hours away so I desperately needed to find a shop open on a Saturday that could complete the job. Lucky for me Tran's Auto was open, close by and they were able to complete the job prior to closing. They even went the extra mile to stay open a few minutes longer when I realized my wife had ordered a Lyft to the other Tran's location, which is about 15 minutes away and we wouldn't have arrived by the time they closed otherwise. I would recommend this shop to anyone because they went the extra mile to get me back on the road so I wasn't stuck renting a vehicle and returning during the week to pick up my SUV. 5 stars all day”

“I’ve been going here for a few years since I moved for college. It’s hard trying to find a good shop out here at all, but especially hard as a young person who doesn’t know anything about cars. If that sounds like you then I would definitely recommend this place. My car is always in and out within 24 hours and they do a great job of explaining in simple terms. They’ve never tried to squeeze me for cash and tell me what is urgent to fix and what can wait. There’s women that work there as well which is a big selling point for me. The one time out of many that I still had something wrong after they worked on my car, they were very easy to talk to and fixed it right away at no cost. A lot of shops would probably tell you tough luck and charge you again but not here. I got in that day and I was only there for about 45 minutes. I felt very well taken care of by the end of the whole ordeal. Highly recommend!!!Services: Transmission”

“This review is well overdue, but better late than ever...I went in for an oil change a couple months ago, everything went smoothly as normal. But after a day or so, I noticed my engine was leaking oil. I took my car back, and the manager, Arelee, made sure we were able to find the root cause of the issue(the cap wasn't screwed on correctly, honest mistake). However, they made sure that the issue was resolved before I drove off again. I highly recommend this location, they did a fantastic job. 10/10”

“I dont usually leave reviews for mechanic shops but i really enjoyed my experience with Muffler Tire & Auto Center. They are busy but never compromise on quality. We brought the car because we thought we needed a full break service but they inspected everything and the fix was much simpler. Didn't try to upsell us on anything and they were honest when they found something that they couldn't do and referred us to a few other places that they trusted. Overall, would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car mechanic!”
