“Gio's Garden is a wonderful facility for children with disabilities for 1:1 respite. And one of the best perks is that siblings 10 and under can also go for 1:1 respite time. You get to choose your schedule between morning, afternoon or evening sessions and it changes as the school semesters change. They can help with any goal you want for your child and it's CLTS funded (only for the disabled child). They take the kids out on field trips, to the park, swimming and more. My children both went together for 2 years until my oldest was 10 and no longer able to go. My youngest, who has autism, continues to go and loves it! It was the first place where he was able to socialize with other kids because of COVID. The only downside is they just have the one location in Middleton, so it is a hassle to drive from the east side to Middleton and back, for drop off and pick up, limiting our respite time as parents.”
“Nice clean store. Easy to spot. Ample parking with easy access from road.Inventory was good. Items were clean. Prices were in line with other St Vincent de Paul stores.Plenty of shopping carts available. Cashiers were ready, waiting and personable.”
“I became a foster mom to a 13 year old girl October 7th. The support I receive from CCR is invaluable! It has been a little over two months and I have watched this young lady go from being super untrusting to trusting me with personal stories and her feelings. Even with the challenges this has already been so rewarding. Contact CCR to begin the licensing process to become a foster parent or you can become respite certified and take foster children for a weekend here and there to give everyone a break.”
