“I love this store! They had to move because of construction at their old location, but I think this new location on Winnebago is even better. They have the best fair trade items! I’ve purchased candy, soaps, cat toys, cards, coffee, tea, and snacks as gifts and for myself. I love their jewelry so much, I can barely leave the store without buying something. They also have beautiful clothing, purses, candles, dog toys, and more. I’ve bought so many Christmas gifts there! Seriously, check it out.”

“Great place to donate baby gear, since goodwill and st vinnies don't accept anymore. Donation accepted in back of strip mall, the front parking lot was quite busy last Tuesday night with folks making pickups of equipment. You get donation receipt for taxes if you like.”

“Dave and his team at the Goodman Community Center are phenomenal. Our staff at Complete Weddings + Events rave about working events with their team. Rooted in community, they have a TEENworks program, which is an employment and leadership program for youth ages 14 to 18, where students learn a variety of job skills, earn industry certifications like ServSafe, explore career paths, and gain hands-on work experience. Thank you for what you provide our local community! We can't wait to be out here again working our next event together.”

“My cat got diagnosed with diabetes recently. They have been so helpful! Their communication is good. Them being a low cost clinic is also sooo helpful! They helped me find other cheaper options for his insulin. They sent me handouts of different types of safe foods for him, that were cheaper. They also had extra syringes that they were willing to donate.”

“The staff at this Red Cross facility have proven time after time to be efficient, thorough, and very personable. The building is easy to find and parking is abundant. My whole blood donation intake, time taken to donate blood, and 15 minutes of beverage/snack time to begin rebuilding fluids and calories typically takes 40 minutes, often less. This Red Cross center is my preferred donation location for all of those reasons.”

“I visited with my team to discuss how we can help fundraise/volunteer, and walking into that building was like being transported to another world! I realized I hadn’t seen a children’s book in 20 years and it was so euphoric to see how they’d evolved to be so inclusive and diverse in so many ways. It’s amazing to see an organization that intentionally curates a selection that will inspire children from all walks of life. I am astounded by the energy and passion from every member I met, and I look forward to helping the cause in any ways I can!”

“My recent experience with this store was a very good one. What made this experience so memorable was the interaction I had with Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen has a very calm personality which is an excellent skill given the chaos you’ll experience with the management team.In my experience, I felt like I was chasing after answers but no one knows what’s going on. Ms. Ellen on the other hand, looked at the situation, and calmly took control. Many thanks to her and other employees like this.”

“Great experience!! I signed up for a build-a-bike class but when I showed up they didn’t have a frame ready to build that would suit my needs, but they did have a newly tuned up bike that WAS exactly what I was looking for and was a very reasonable $200 and it even came with a front basket already installed. I am very happy with my experience at Freewheel and will recommend to all my friends! The guy working was very helpful and friendly!”

“My daughters have taken several art classes with Miss Lexie, all of which were amazing! She creates fun, engaging and creative activities.

We’ve also taken a few Music Together classes which have been wonderful. Specifically, I appreciate their no phone policy to both encourage parent/child connection and to minimize distractions for the entire class. It’s such a treat to be in a toddler activity without phones, which is a rare thing to experience!”

Paige was phenomenal and really took the time to get to know our mom and help us in our efforts to properly place her in the right long-term assisted living facility.
