“This Kwik trip is by far the best in the rice lake area! Everything is always clean, everything including sale items are always fully stocked and always greeted by the nicest Kwik trip workers anybody could ever come across. Side note.. I literally drive past 3 other Kwik trips to shop this one every day.”
“I'm leaving Yelp and moving my reviews over to Google. Ed & Stacy sold to Synergy a little after I wrote this so no longer family owned. This was written as my last review of 2021. I would be willing to bet I've been back no less than 100x/year since writing this original review:
Looks like Ed's gets the last review I write in 2021. That's fitting as I had what was definitely the best Reuben of the year at their place. I've had a bunch of their smoked meats and they are uniformly delicious. Good smoke flavor, nice rub and great bark. That applies to their pulled pork, brisket, pastrami and ribs.
Located in a gas station like all the best places way down south. I've eaten here a handful of times when I'm at the lake and have loved everything I've tried this far.
Super happy to have this resource (gas, select groceries, fresh pizza, local ice cream, souvenirs too) only 2 miles away.
Family owned and operated. This is a place you need in your life!”

“Give 5 stars if they would have a lower grade of fuel without alcohol for boat motors. I usually pick up boat fuel in Rice Lake that does exactly that. I'm in RL several times a week and it is convenient and less costly. I don't understand why the BP doesn't take advantage all the boat gas sales in Birchwood and take on all that business.”
“Rice Lake has a town ordinance that doesn't allow any stores to sell alcohol except liquor stores. This one is Kwik trip, but with it's own entrance. Decent selection and prices.”

“It's a normal, everyday, Kwik Trip. The customer service was great. They were pretty respectful and funny to my family and I. We frequent there for air and gas. Kwik snacks as well lol.”
“I love this gas station. It has everything you forgot on your way up north. The owners are really awesome and nice. Never had a bad experience. I've watched it since he bought it and they have brought it so far. Definitely worth a stop.”
“There was a guy in the razor section today and he gave me outstanding customer service! He made me feel as though he truly cared about what I was looking for and even found me an awesome deal on some clearance razors! He went above and beyond and showed concern about whether or not I had shaving cream as well. I didn't get his name but if you can figure out who he is he definitely deserves kudos for the awesome customer service he gave me today! He is truly is a gem!
Update: I ran into this gentleman a couple days ago back at the store and I did get to get his name His name is Mike and Mike deserves all sorts of kudos for being such an excellent retail salesperson and making me feel like I'm matter”
