“A fine campus and college in the Avenues West neighborhood of the city. If you’re a tourist visiting Milwaukee and you (or your children) aren’t enrolled at Marquette, the only reason you’d probably take the 10-minute bus ride/25-minute walk out here from downtown would be to visit the free Haggerty Museum of Art, which I did. But since I went all that way, I explored the campus for a bit as well. The centerpiece is probably the 15-century French chapel dedicated to St. Joan of Arc, which was purchased from France in the 1920s and ultimately made its way to Marquette’s campus in 1964. It was pretty to look at, but not open when I visited ‪at 4pm‬. There really wasn’t anything else for a visitor to see or do on campus from what I can tell. So aside from the free art museum, I don’t see any major reason why a casual tourist would miss out if they opted not to make the trip over here.”

As they age, we felt like they'd get more out of it, so it seemed like a good choice. The membership includes reciprocity with 300 science museums around the world, so this was a motivating factor, as well.”

“The ATM is located inside the Aurora Sinai Medical Center (between 12th and 13th Street). It is not near the entrance and so you might have to ask the security for directions as you enter the building. There is free parking to the west of the building.”

“Great zoo to visit. If Uber or Lyft-ing ask to be dropped at pedestrian entrance. Rent a scooter at entrance if needed- Fully accessible facility. Excellent info signage and map. Animals and enclosures are clean and well cared for. ? I was impressed that a few animals were ‘off exhibit’ to give THEM a break- it shows great care is taken of the animal’s needs first! ? Favs: Goat petting corral?Dairy Barn ice cream?, Baby (2!) Giraffes??with a herd. Staff was very helpful and well-informed.”

“I have brought my car here twice for different issues and each time I call I'm greeted by drew usually and he is always great to talk to and understands your frustration with cars/issues. This past time I brought in my jeep it wouldn't start and throwing transmission messages-I thought the worst that the car was dead and time to figure out the next phase. I had my car towed Sunday afternoon, got a call the next day around 2/3 from drew informing me it was just a ground wire that needed replacement. I couldn't believe it, I was expecting something drastic and expensive. Great people offering great service will keep me coming back and recommending landrys. Thanks again for the help! 10/10”

I was once victim of theft via multiple illegal and unauthorized uses of my bank account...In reaching out to bankers for help to get this situation resolved, I was met with extreme tones of disgust. I kept pushing on and God led me to Ms Joann Jordan. This dear lovely woman helped me get to the point where I now have a pathway back into banking. In addition, I shared a sample of my future moves and why I need the access to banking, The result was a Pledge of assistance both her personal and professional time to help THE FOUNDATION gather a solid footing. Yall if you are having finance issue in the realm of banking or your bank just sucks you should call her. She is educating "THE URBAN MINDS" on money matters of the bank. Go see Joann Jordan.
